with your digital camera. I bought a digital camera a while ago because I thought I was going to take a lot of pictures but I don't take hardly as many as I thought I was going too. How about you? Do you take a lot of pictures with your digital camera?

yes i have taken a lot of picture. i got my digital camera a few years back. since then, i must have taken hundreds, or even thousands of pictures. i am now running out of storage space on my laptop. guess i better get an external HDD soon to store them. i always bring my camera with me on my trips overseas. over the years, i've managed to accumulate many pictures of my trips. cheers ;p

I'm a freelance photographer, and I shoot regularly for my college paper and a website based in the area. I take a TON of pictures.
The month is only half over, and I'm already over 5000 images for the month. I have a few more big events to cover before the month is up, so I'll probably hit 10k by August.

Well I got two cameras, a small DSLR (Nikon D40X) and a compact one (Samsung S500) and I have my compact always with me. Sometimes I go out with my DSLR to take photos and I took already lots of photos, over 10k alone with my DSLR in half a year. But I think I'm just bad at photographing because I had to delete most of the photos because they were out of focus or wrong exposed. I publish many of the not-so-bad ones on triond where they land on picable but it looks like my photos are really as bad as I think because I nearly get no view for them.
I also bought a new lens for my DSLR, a Tamron 28-300mm with built in stabilizer and it's a nice lens but the focus is compared to my kit 18-55mm weaker and not that sharp. Now I'm depressed with that because I have the choice between making very sharp photos in a small 18-55mm range or I can take stabilized photos in a large 28-300mm range that don't get really sharp. If I would switch the whole time between the two lenses I would also need to clean the sensor of my DSRL the whole time because it's easy to take photos with it but way easier to get the lens dirty.
That's why I'm decreasingly taking photos. I just bought them to make money with the photos on triond at all but well, I could barely buy a memory card from what I've made while I have spend more than 1200€ on both cams...
here's the link to the photos if you wanna take a look at them, maybe you can tell me if the photos really that bad... http://www.picable.com/photographers/Fussel%20Suki.1882

I got a digital camera in Christmas of 2006 as a present. After I started taking pictures I had so many that I had to seperate them by weeks, months, and years. I took as many pictures as I could with it. I have over 1000 pictures saved on my computer of random things I took pictures of when I was in the Army and pictures from right after I got home. When I got home my camera was stolen within the 1st month of me being home so I no longer have it. But I really wish I did. I'd take pictures almost daily of everything that goes on in my kids's lives, my boyfriend's life, and pictures of my own life. It is a great way to capture things in time. Thanks for the post :D

We travel alot and take alot of photos. We also love to take photos of our cats and dog, beautiful scenery, nature photos,my family when ever I get the chance to go back home. It's great having a digital camera, cause you never know when the opportunity will arise to get a really spectacular or unusual photo. I try to take mine everywhere i go. I have around 10,000 photos most of them are on cds though. But we still take photos. Better than film ever thought about being and so much less expensive. lol

When I was younger I used to take pictures like crazy and was really into photography. After I got married and had a kid I seemed to only take pictures on special occassions and mostly of my son. I then received a smaller camera which was an advantage camera and you could take panoramic pictures as well as regular. It was a bit more convenient and used it for a while but the photo processing was expensive and never seemed to have enough film or batteries. I have had my digital camera for almost a year now and have taken so many pictures with it. I take it almost everywhere and get some really good shots. It is so much more economical and can send pictures via email to whoever I want to. After getting the digital camera I have gotten back into picture taking again on a regular basis. I will save my money to upgrade at a later time. I really enjoy it and its is easy to take with me in my purse.

I take around 10,000 photos a year.
The number of photos I take actually increases each year. My camera counts each photo I take starting with 0001. But it can only count up to 9999, before resetting back to 0001. And it usually takes about a year for my camera to reach that 9999. So yah, it's a good way for me to determine how many photos I take each year! And yah, I take a lot of photos!

i try to take my camera with me whenever i go out, you never know when you will see something you might want a picture of. As you start to take more pictures even just things outside, you will notice that even when you are driving you start to see things differently and notice more, and end up finding more that you want to take a picture of
