i think windows xp is the far more easy n friendly o.s. windows vista is very heavy yet it needs a lot of changing to b compatible with windows xp. it has changed all the requirements of hardware to run it smoothly whereas it is not happened in xp.
windows xp specially sp2 is doesn,t require so much attention as far as hardware n software is concerned.
microsoft announced its windows vista version with service pack 1 n claim that it would destroys all the incompatabilities but yet i give high scores to xp.

Definitelly XP, Vista is new and unstable... maybe Windows XP has less security software included, but that's what I like about it. I like to do things my way, I am not a begginer and I know how to make my system work perfectly well. Vista is more begginer oriented OS I think, it has the firewall configured, the anti-spyware configured by default. For me I don't like eaither of those things because I get my own software I trust and use that, not some suff Microsoft's arrogant programmers made.
