asuming you got ito a big fight with your mum, and she happened to say some pretty awful things to you, what would you do? would you answer her back or simply listen to whatever she has to say

well, my parents talk a lot of garbage. so i have never gone to them for advice...strangers have given me better advice...so in my care, ignoring her worked..and go on my own...

well you should listen no matter what, your parent/parents have most likely come a long way even before you were born and have been through much. it's not easy raising
young people. just let it go, it could've been worse she could have hit you on the head. words can hurt however words can never make you bleed like a cut. believe me when i say, if you live with your mum and you see her must often whatever it was she said hurts her just as much as it did you... let it go it will mend itself with time. the worse you can do is fire back with violence, it only begets violence, so let it go it'll be alright.

I think its important to listen and understand what she is saying and why. We sometimes retort without trying to understand and that leads to the situation getting worse. If you are not in agreement with what she is saying then you could in a strong but yet calm manner put across your point of view.
