do you get fascinated by rains? what is the first thing you think when you think of a drop of rain? does it excite your mind and body? does it bring a smile on your face? what is your perception about those fresh drops from the sky? express yourself.

Raindrops always makes me smile. Yes they do. I was on my way to the jeepney (a vehicle often used as public utility vehicle here in the Philippines) station. Suddenly, the glaring sun was covered by dark clouds and it started to rain. I saw someone ahead of me struggling to get her umbrella from her bag and spilling some of her bag's contents in the process. I rushed to help and as I gather some of her things, the rain poured harder so she covered me with her umbrella. Surprisingly, we are heading to the same station. That started a friendship which turned into a 2-year relationship. We are still friends until now and I always remember her sweetness every time I am nostalgic of raindrops and umbrellas.

the first that excites me is the scent of earth that gets drenched with drops of rain, with birds flying for shelter and shaking their head vigouroursly to get rid of excess water on their feathers, ants running back to their burrows. the most exciting thing is to make to paper boats with kids.
