I don't lie about my age at all. I never have actually. I have earned every year..:)! I really don't understand why some women do this. Interesting question though!

Since I prefer not to lie,I evade the question.I'm well into middle age but look barely 30 and sometimes still get carded. So mostly I just let people assume what they will and let it go at that.I do appreciate the compliments but get tired of explaining my much younger husband and grandchildern.

I personally don't lie about my age. As I have no reason to. I'm 22 and I often get told I look like I'm 18 or 19. And I wouldn't want people to think I'm older, so I use it to my advantage. I think some woman lie about their age cause they're not happy with theirs. They're either too old and want to be younger, or vice versa.

I personally would not do it I do not see why someone would want to do that..I mean what would they benifit from it?
Funny story..My husbands great grandmother who passed away a few years ago...lied about her age all her life...she told everyone that she was a year younger then she really was...i believe it was becasue her husband was much older and she did not want people to think bad of him....she was 95 when she passed away.

A lot of women will lie about their age. But more will choose not to say anything or keep mum when asked how old they were. It's a woman-thing I guess. It's about vanity, too. Anything beyond 35 is scary, where many women are concerned. I look at it this way, what matters is the good I have done in my life, not my chronological age. If there is something significant I can show for my age, that is more important. And yes, I do reveal my age: 40

Most women that are older like to say they are younger. right now I don't lie about my age, but I am sure once I hit the 40 yr old mark I will lie. My mom is 60 and she says that she is only 50.. but she looks like she is in her later 40's. so she gets by with it.

I don't, and I don't see the point. If you say you are younger than you actually are, people just think how terrible you look for your age. That's hardly flattering is it?
