fuel prices?!.....

Hi guys, I live in the UK and fuel prices are rocketing. The average price for petrol is £1.22 where I am. It is really starting to annoy me as I am a student and find it hard to pay for fuel. Does anybody know if these prices will ever come down?

There has to be a breaking point. Alternative fuels will become more and more important. Within ten years the majority of the cars on U.S. highways will be running on something other than gasoline. People will get tired of the fluctuating cost of gasoline and will opt for other energy sources in droves. . There is practically no commodity sold that does not get moved by trucks or something burning fuel. As delivery prices go up so do prices. The market will adjust prices and inflation will drive up the price of everything even more. The service industry in the western world is huge.

I live in the USA in the Buckeye state of Ohio and currently gas prices here are about $4.05 a gallon for regular unleaded, but the supermarket chains across the country now have fuel perks with their shopping card, I have at times saved $.50 per gallon of fuel. Usually if you buy giftcards at the supermarket you can get double fuel points. Kroger in particular has their fuel perks is $1 spent equals $1 fuel point, if you spend up to $750 a month you save $.50 off a gallon of fuel for 4 fill-ups.

Dear friend, Fuel and gas prices are becoming high not only UK but in my country India too. It is Rs.52 per liter in our place and a 1 dollar comes to around Rs.43. I hope if this goes high other commodities prices are also increasing. Hence the poor and common people are finding it much difficult to maintain their financial security.
