The god of America?

Who do you think is the god of America? Have you ever given any thought to "who" is the god of America? Historically, other nations have built pretty much everyhing they do, especially laws, around the worship to their particular god or religion. This is not another forefather discussion. We have removed prayer from public schools, we are still in debte as to whether homosexual marriage is legal or illegal, and even the Christian churches are not legally allowed to practice certain things without suffering "fiscally." When I did my research I found that the god of America is actual the sun god Ra, who is also the god of the financial system and not the God of the bible as many Chrisitians have been brought up to believe. Now I could be wrong, so I ask you the question who do you think is the god that America puts their trust in.

Do you mean to say that when the Founding Fathers of America referred to as religion, it is the religion of the sun god? Or when they referred to as God, they meant the sun god? I thought it's the God of the Bible they referred to. But I am not American so I'd give the last word to the Americans.

I would not say that with 100% surety because most believe that there is a dual history to the US. I have seen very little evidence of that but there is some. If you look at the back of the $1 bill it is clear that there is a definite link between the government and culture of America and the culture of the ancient Egyptians. Now the connections between the US and Greeks and Roman culture would be understandable, but the connection to Egyptian culture is odd. Don't you think?

I thought so. And therefore if sun god is what they had referred to it would be strange.

America was built on the bible and the christian GOD is the GOD of America. Not some idol like you are claiming. When American was founded it was founded on the BIBLE not on the sun.

OK. That may be correct. However, what Christian monuments are there in the US? What Christian monuments are there recorded in US history? I mean other than the use of the very generic word "god" what evidence is there that supports the theory that America was founded as a Christian nation?
