Its not actually true about all that radiation cr*p, it is barely enough to do any damage to your eyes. the main problem with looking at monitors is it puts stress on your eyes, it does this becuase all crt monitors refresh, even though you may not be able to see the monitor refresh, you eyes register it. a problem that can fix this is by using a lcd screen instead, as lcd screens do not refresh. a downside to lcd screens though is if u are a gamer, or do use fast moving apps, u may experience ghosting, and some people state that crt monitors are higher quality, also lcd have a fixed resolution. if you can not afford to buy an lcd, just take regular breaks, try to sit as far away from the monitor as you can, and blink regularly. and wear your priscribed glasses(if you wear glasses). :)

If we in continous facing the monitor about 1 hour or more, take a while a minute or two and then look for another object beside the monitor while stand up or may be we can move our neck. A good quality of screen filter is effective also reduce the brightness and contrass setting.

I have read in newspaper that one should not look at screen continuously for long. Person should blink in between and in 10-15 minutes gap he/she should look beyond screen.

if i use it for a long time, my eyes will for sure be tired, when my eyes are tired, i stop for a while, do another thing, until i feel my eyes fresh enough, than i get to my computer again. I also use monitor filter to reduce the radiation effect, and also using enough lighting when i'm in front of my pc so my eyes dont have to work so hard. You can also try to reduce the brightness or contrast from your monitor, i think it'll give almost the same effect if u use the monitor's filter, except for the radiation thing. That's the usual thing that i do :)

Please keep the light of your screen dim.You can also use filter screen. It is available in market. Then constant gazing of screen must be avoided. You should sit at a distance and keep turning your eyes away from screen frequently.Similarly throwing cold water in your eyes will also give relief to your eyes. You can also use coloured specs to protect your eyes...........Take care.

is my friend this is a very valid question you know. The "exposure to computer is increasing and frankly speaking we can do nothing about it. It is now at the important part of our life and so we have to get used to it. So there are few things which we should do which will take care of our eyes when they are exposed to know to computer radiation. First of the list would be to splash the lot of water on your eyes. It is observed that when you are exposed to much to computer is your eyes tend to get dry and this can cause a lot of problems the biggest will be itching. Then it is all is better to have a protective screen on your monitor if you are using a CRT monitor. It's for some extra protection you can also go for a specs which has an antiglare voting on it which will help a lot. I think if you to these things then is it will help a lot.

You can use a screen filter or simply adjust the resolution of your screen.
