That happens to me sometimes.
it's probably just from the way you were sleeping.
usually mine go's away in a day or 2.
if you have someone there who could be nice and help you out with a massage that may help some.
or a warm bath or a heating pad or something.
it doesn't happen to me very often, just sometimes when I sleep with my head in a funny position, maybe the pillow wasn't positioned right or something.
I know what ya mean though, it does hurt.
hope u feel better soon!

oh, thank you for your suggestion. Today, because this problem it makes depress. I supposed to meet my friend at 9am. But I took the metro with the wrong direction. After I got off the metro, I went to the wrong direction of the road. It wasted me a lot of time. When I arrived the address, I was 45 mins late. My friend has gone 10 mins before. What a bad day!

I have had this happen too. Also, my daughter had a sore neck one day too that lasted for a couple days. Just try not to turn your head, that will just aggravate whatever is going on. Take some Tylenol to ease the pain or some Ibuprofen to help with the pain and swelling. A nice soak in a warm bath or a hot shower might ease the pain too. Just try to rest it but if it doesn't get better in like three days I would make an appointment to go see the doctor.

That can usually happen if you sleep and your head is to elevated on your pillow. Or you could have slept on a hard surface and since you grow in your sleep, your bone must have grown and irritated your neck a little.
I was in a car accident and it really hurt my neck and leg so it could have been something related to an injury that happened to you recently and it could be a matter of just soreness in your neck.
I recommend that you just leave your neck alone for about a day or two and if it still hurts after then I say you should see a doctor at your local chiropractor facility and they are going to perform some practical procedures and generally make you feel better. But remember don't rub anything on your neck and you might want to look into getting a massage
