How things can Change. My step daughter is moving away.

About a month ago my husbands ex-wife told us she is moving. They are moving about 4 maybe 5 hours away. They lived only 10 minutes from us. She told us that we will no longer get her every other weekend. That makes me and my husband very sad. She is 13 years old and we have been getting her every other weekend sense she was 5 years old. Things will be very off for a while. She asked to move in with us, but her mother told us no way. Does any body have any suggestions? We asked her mother if we can meet half way every other weekend, but she told us that it would be to hard for her. My step daughter has siblings here and now I feel that she will miss everything as well as we will miss everything about her.
