Introducing the new myLot look

Over all I like it. I am looking forward to exploring more and more of it. My only suggestion right now is that When we respond to a discussion and some one comments - when we go back to comment you see your response not the commnet. It would be nice to see there response.

Nice one! The new layout looks real good. It looks more organized for me compared to my layout before. It's also a good plan to have access to that menu bar. Well, just as you said, I'd probably need a few moments to get use to the new site. Good job on that. Hopefully, the new features will improve everyone's experience. I wish to try those out and how easier it could get to navigate around. c'ya!

I was just typing a response and when I hit submit I noticed that the screen looked bigger. I thought I had done something or screwed up my settings or something. I really like the new display. I think it is easier to navigate this way. Everything is on top and easy to see and easy to manuever to where I want to go in an efficient manner. Thanks myLot for improving your already great site. It looks very clean and neat and very organized. Thanks again and keep up the good work!

I like the new look! I think I am going to have to get used to it, that might take 5, 10 minutes, but after that I think the ease of use will be incredible. Nice redesign and wow you guys did it fast!

So long as I can still post and find stuff then whatever is done is fine with me. It will take some getting used to but hey, change is the spice of life or something. Give it a week and we'll have forgotten that it was ever any different.

i love the new look! it's always great to make changes. this system upgrade is so refreshing. it's like taking a bath after you have been outside with the heat of the sun! thanks mylot! :)

I like the new look, it looks so clean and organized, I haven't explored it yet but I am sure I will like it, specially after I get used to it. Thanks mylot for improving the site once again.

I am afraid that it does not work at all for me. I am using 800x600 resolution... and without a column... it becomes impossible for me to read the messages without scrolling from left to right in order to read each line. I have never seen a website spreading text over the width of a page in 1024 resolution. Change it back or I am out of here. Why do people feel the need to constantly change the look of things? If it is not broken... don't fix it. If you wanted to be different... you succeeded. But you did not improve a single thing.

Seeing as how this is a discussion forum, let's discuss "today's top" and "hot". I don't see the point in having these. Am I missing something? Is there some value to these sections? I think the "new Look" could be improved with the removal of these sections. I actually preferred the old format. This is like having another toolbar.

I must admit I did a bit of a double-take when my page popped up with this new look but I like it, or I'm going to like it once I get used to seeing it like this! I must agree with a previous post who mentioned that something really needs to be about the trolls and the star rating system where people are being "punished" for their opinions, particularly on hot-button topics rather than being rewarded for thoughtful and well-written posts and given the negative ratings only when they're deserved, not because of differences of opinion. A good comparison would be, in my opinion, that political columnists and commentators from both sides of the spectrum are considered tops in their field based on their knowledge of the subject and ability to be articulate and thoughtful when giving their opinions. Here it's more like if someone who really has never read or researched the subject at all makes a few caustic comments that the majority of myLot members who are active in the interest agree with, they go directly to the top of the rankings while someone who has spent a lifetime following politics gets knocked down to the bottom of the heap for not going with the flow, which is quite different here than it is in the U.S. in general, I might add. Uhm, I was only gone a little while and look what they get up too! I think I'm going to like this set up - everything easy to see and nice and handy - great!

Dont get me wrong, I have love for Mylot but I will miss the navigation bar and having everything under my fignertips takes a little from the experience but I can get get used to it. I like having my earnings total right there at the top though so I can see it right away with a quick glance.

it is interesting, I was getting so use to the sidebar though Lol, now I have to get use to all this space I have around me :P. But I do like it and I'm going to get to know the new look better. I hope you guys make it so that we can "choose" personal layouts like in other message boards. I love this place, but it's so bright on my eyes.

For the past five days I was not able to open up mylot as I was so busy accompanying my friend who visited me here in the city. I was amazed when I opened up my lot, am I not logging into another site. Although new look, as you said we will be accustomed to it later on. We need some changes for the better. May we ask, is the payment also changes? May i ask you a question, are you one of the source of the email addresses of many of us. Since I became member of Mylot, there are so many spam e-mails and e-mails I dont know how it came into my mail. Just asking. Keep up the good work.

I love it. I didn't know the layout was changing, so it looked bizar when I opened MyLot yesterday. But after looking around I was very pleased. It's easy to use, looks very easy, and has all the features we need in an easy to locate place.

hi mylot one thing I would suggest and that is more watching again on the minusing a lot of really good mylotters who did 'not deserve this have had their ten stars reduced to five or six in one day,so it has to be a few angry trolls who spend a considerable amount of time hitting the minus key for no valid reason. as I understand the rules we are not to minus anyone for disagreeing with our own point of view, but only if the respondse is insulting with really nasty words or down right flamming. I have learned these mylotters are honest and seen that their discussions had no rules broken and no insulting remarks so they did not deserve to be treated like that. so wish you could help please. I love the new look and its neat and clean.

I was very surprised when I got to the site. We are creatures of habit, but I know in a few days it will seem normal...lol

The new look is refreshingly amazing! It's easier to navigate through sessions and also a wonderful new layout. Still get used to the changes and new features, but overall a nice change.
