Not sure I like the new layout

I think I just got used to the old layout and it seemed easier for me. Once I get used to it you maybe right and it might be more enjoyable. It just seems cluttered to me.

It does look exteremly cluttered now, and I don't like how it is a larger window, and you are right if its not broke don't fix it. But of course they will make anychanges that they want to. And us dedicated myLotters will get used to the changes lol.

I would have sent the squirrles first had I known that they were going to do it. The squirrels have been trained to go after your purple heels, now i have to retrain them lol.

Yes, they will play with things as they wish, it is their site after all Maybe you should have sent your army of squirrels after them first LOL

I have not noticed any performance issues and I am not sure there SHOULD be any. I would be curious to know if others are experiencing the same thing as you are Pola 'cause this just looks like they moved things around not changed the backend (the database etc...) of the site. Thanks Zelo

I had a problem trying to post a pic with a discussion. I don't know why it didn't post with the discussion, I was having problems earlier with not getting my notifaction emails. I hate it when they do updates. something always goes wrong.

That would be an awesome idea! Just like yahoo and myspace have the new versions and still allow users to choose the "classic" versions. I kept the classic for yahoo but went with the new on myspace...but that's the point, it was MY choice which to use.

Nope, still can't find the "users by rating" pages, I kind of liked checking my position there.

It just seems that they want to shake things up as Fwid said if its not broke why fix it. This is going to take a LOT of getting used to and us dedicated myLotters will get used to the change and they will prolly change it again on us lol. WHy can't we choose the way we look at myLot. Let those that like the new way use it and us that don't go back to the old way?

And a lot of people are going to like it, I don't like the size of the discussion window, and having to scroll all the way to the top of the page to do anything. I will get used to it I am sure, I just don't like change.

We do get paid for discussions but I think its only when we get a response, don't quote me on that though. I have been on myLot for over a year and a half now (I know you can't tell from my post count lol.) I have hit min payout 3 times and have almost $18 for next payout I missed this one by .30 I got used to it the last time they changed it and will get used to it again I am sure! I know I am gnot going to leave myLot just because I am not used to it though hehehe.

We all get set in our ways at times. I can understand that. I wasn't into MyLot as long as you and others, so it doesn't bother me as much. I did like the smaller window for responses, but I can use this one just as good. Some just think that it will cut down on pay according to the 3-5 line comments. That makes them seem much shorter, although they are the same length they would be if it was the old layout. I just make my response and hit send and don't worry. If they pay me, they pay me, and if they don't, I won't worry about it. So far, I haven't been disappointed but one day.But I think that had to do with no responses to my discussions to amount to much. I've wondered if we are paid if we start a discussion that nobody responds to, or maybe has only one or two responses.

so I am not the only one that thinks that lol. I wish they would give us a choice or something so that we can use it better. Its a bit fusterating when they make the changes since I can't seem to get my noticifaction emails now.

I only have a minot problem with how it looks. I am still learning how to do things in here. I finally learn today how to add friends back. I know how to add them but did not know how to approve them before. Weird. I hope all these changes are for the best :)

It just seems like everytime I get used to it they decide to change it. and whenever they do I have problems getting notifications etc. Oh well we'll get used to it and move on. we'll learn the new way to do things and hopefully it will be the last time for a long time that we have to do that.

You aren't odd at all hun!! I just guess that I got too used to the old way. I still haven't gotten through everything yet to be able to see where everything is hehehehe. Maybe one of these days I will get to it hehehe.

It does kinda fell that way, I am sure that everything is still there we just have to find where it is now lol. There are a lot of people that do like the new design but I am not one of them and it doesn't look like I am alone eheheheh.

No hun you aren't the minority, and I am getting used to it. I guess with everything else going on I hate any changes right now lol.

It will definatly take a lot of getting used to. It just seems a bit cluttered to me now. I didn't like the change when they introduced the sorties it seemed like you had to go through more to get to discusions, now we will see if this makes it better once we get used to it.

well i know when I joined a year and a half almost ago that we went through one change, and now another. I am not a fan of change lol. We will get used to it though and go from there hehehehe.

Its definatly going to take some getting used to that's for sure. I got used to the last overhaul they did about a year ago and I am sure I will get used to this one as well!

Thats cool and I am sure that for some people it does seem a lot better, for me its a bit much I think. I build websites on the side andI never liked a lot of stuff on a page. I like everything to be in it's own place lmao.

This is true, we will get used to it. I have been a member over a year now (I know you can't tell by the post count lol) And I enjoy myLot and love that fact that I get paid for having discussions. Don't get me wrong I like seeing my earnings sitting there, but it seemed like the old way I could see it better. Looking at almost $16 is nice and validates the reason I go on myLot lol. But I liked seeing it in bold on the left side lol.

I just wish we had a choice to go back to the old way if we wanted to. If we did maybe I would start getting my notifications again. I am sure there are people that love the new layout adn for those of us that don't we will get used to it.
