Do you think that footballers are paid far too much money?

I love football and I will always love it but 100,000$ a week!Maybe 100,000$ a month.The reason it's so high is because it more of an industry not a sport.
Also people like David Beckham donates so much of his money into charity but still it's not enough.The government should be doing more to help 3rd world countries as well!
What are you views on this subject?

I agree that many of these athletes are getting way too much money. We have baseball players here that make nearly if not more than a million a week. Alex Rodriguez makes $25 million per year, which is only 6 months of playing. It's crazy and I don't know when it's going to stop.
I know however that a lot of them are helping the cities they play in and giving some money to the community, but still...if you make a million dollars a week you better be saving the world a few times a month...

I don't think footballers get too much money.because they are doing a very dangerous sport,and they could get hurt at any time.Do you remember Eduardo,the Arsenal Striker,was nearly disabled because of a foul.
