Funny and strange dreams

I couldn't find the interest for dreaming, so I hope nobody minds if I post this here. Anyway, so I have dreams regularly- usually I remember at least one every night. They often wind up bizarre; not just in my mind, but when I describe them to others, I find other people giving me funny looks. A recent example would be when I was running through a huge building that was combination video game arcade, hotel, and my grade school cafeteria. Three video game characters were following me (something to do with the sneakers I was wearing), but I kept distracting them Home Alone style; with traps, with other people, with challenging them to games in the arcade, and so on. They never DID catch me, and the chase was never scary. It was more silly than anything else. I remember I could fly a little; maybe that was why they wanted the sneakers, haha. Anyway, so some questions for you: do you remember your dreams? How often? What's a common factor in your dreams?

Hello, stagewhisper. I don't mind that you have posted this in here. Well, I can't remember my dream. Usually, I wake up with nothing from the night in my mind. I can only remember when I lay down to sleep, and that's all. It's strange, because I know that I have dreamed. I remember that I have dreamed with something, somebody, but can't really remember who or where, nor what was it about. I wish I could remember all my dreams, but it isn't always like that. I can remember like one dream out of the seven in the week. Perhaps it's because I never payed too much attention to them, then my unconscious automatically block them. If I start forcing my mind to remember them, I think I'll be able to in a few weeks. When I remember my dreams, they are as crazy as yours. Being chased by motorbikes, and escaping on an elephant! Yes, I remember this one, from years ago. I was in an elephant with a girl, running from the motorbikes, and incredibly the elephant was faster. Then the road suddenly changed to sand. That's all I can remember. Strange, isn't it? Respectfully, Munhozmib.

Sounds like a fun dream, Munhozmib! And quite a bit like the ones I have. Just about everyone dreams, whether or not they remember them. It's just how we work. It's interesting to see how well people remember them, though. I've always been able to remember at least one a night if I put a bit of effort in. It's easier to remember if you set a journal/pen by your bed and, as soon as you wake up, write any and everything that comes to mind- odds are that's what was in your dream just then! It's harder to if you wake up by alarm clock, though.

Hahaha, I have heard this tip before and I'm going to use it. I have strange dreams sometimes, and I'd like to remember them. Thanks for sharing it with me. Respectfully, Munhozmib.

I usually recall 2-3 dreams a night, and the more vivid ones are either abstractly bizzare, like chases, swimming with all my clothing on in the ocea and being able to breathe....being on a agem show... or they're very like a movie...where i follow a set story as if I were a main character...and it's almost too real. and other tems I'm the main character, or a random person helping out..in a ideo game...
