I find myself watching certain routines over and over and over again. I can't get enough of my favorite routines. What is your favorite routine. Second favorite. Third favorite. Fourth favorite. Oh heck, I know it's difficult to pinpoint just one!!! Also, do you have a favorite for each season?
So far this season, my absolute favorite dance is Mark and Chelsea's hip-hop workaholic routine to Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis. I have re-watched this routine countless times and can't get enough of it. My second favorite routine of this season is *surprise*surprise* another Mark and Chelsea routine - the Tim Burton Wedding contemporary routine to Beautiful by Me'shell Ndegéocello. My third favorite is Twitchington`s Viennese Waltz to the slow version of A New Day Has Come by Celine Dion (this routine made me cry, especially during the judging of the routine).
In season 2, I can't choose a single favorite because almost all the dances this season was phenomenal. First played is tied between: Sabra and Neil's business negotiation jazz routine to Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics, Sabra and Dominic's hip-hop dance to Make it Work by Neyo, Lacey and Kameron`s hauntingly beautiful contemporary dance to Dancing by Elisa and Lacey and Neil's contemporary dance to Mia Michael's contemporary story about meeting her father after he passed away (these last two dances actually brought tears to my eyes).
In season 2 - My favorite routine of the season was the SexyBack final four dance. It was amazing! My second favorites was the Hairspray routine by Donyelle and Benji. The movie/musical is just so happy and this routine was danced so joyously by Donyelle and Benji. And my third favorite was Ivan and Allison's hip hop dance with the umbrella. Such a sweet romantic story.
Share your favorite routines! And feel free to add to this as this season continues. I'm sure there will be even more outstanding dances coming up. I can't wait!

I seem to have missed a season or two somewhere!
I loved that dance last season with the table and all the flipping over and under and around. The guy, I just can't remember who, was so strong and agile.
I really loved the Bleeding Love routine this year it was fabulous!
The Twitchington mattress routine to that John Mayer song "Dreaming with a Broken Heart" was pretty super too.
The routine that Hok did where he played the hummingbird was over the top amazing!
Where are you watching them again? Are they on youtube? I will have to go look there. There are some amazing ones I am sure I missed when I didn't see all the seasons.

Thank you for best response!
I did go to youtube and after I figured out how to find them, watched a few routines from Benji's season. Some of them were really good. There was a blonde girl he danced with alot who was very good, maybe better than he was. I don't remember her name.
Hold on and I will go look in another window....
Heidi!

This is the one I really liked.

No problem! :) I think you're referring to is Heidi? If so, that's actually Benji's cousin. It seems like all of Benji's family has been in SYTYCD - Benji, Heidi (his cousin) and Lacey (his sister). They're all fabulous dancers though!

My favorite routune was Wade robson's Ramalama Bang bang group routine in season two. It was just so werid it realyl caught my attention. This routine is much like season three's neil and lauren Night of teh dancing flame also by wade robson. Apart from these two routines i really liked mia michels group routine this year with the top 5 girls.

I really liked the Ramalama dance too, but I have to say that none of the group dances are my favorite because the stupid camera work! On every group dance, the camera is just all over the place so you can't see really what's going on. I just scream at the TV "STOP, I want to see the dance you moron." They've had some really good group dances (loved the one last season when Lauren was like in a long black coat), but I can't watch them over and over, I'd get seasick.
And Yes, Mia does get a little too harsh sometimes, like her comments about Jessica. I bet Jessica was just lookin for the trap door. Mia tells Will that he just needs a new partner, right on national television with Jessica standing right there. Its one thing to critique the dance and say she wasn't quite up to snuff, but to diss her personally like that - harsh, uh huh!

Yah, Mia's (seemingly) personal attacks on Jessica were so mean! I would have to say I wouldn't miss it much if Mia wasn't on the judging panel from now on. However, after watching Toni Basil this week, holy cow! If I had to choose the lesser of two evils, I would have Mia judging over Toni. I could not stand listening to her long-winded and (as you mentioned in your other discussion) pompous critiques. Yuck!

I loved Sabra and Neils Negotiation dance last year. We watched that one a few times it was great. I also loved the door one this year, that was pretty cool, really well acted. There was also one with Hawk last year, it was a contemporary one, but I don't remember the song or the girl he was with, it was towards the begining of the top ten performances.

I absolutely adore the Sabra/Neil Business Negotiation dance. It was so hard hitting and just amazingly danced. I can't get tired of watching it over and over again either. Re: Hok's contemporary dance, maybe you're thinking about the hummingbird dance where Hok was the hummingbird and Jamie was the flower? That got so many accolades from the judges and it was a spectacular dance too. Hok was amazing and I was sad that he didn't make the top 10 last season.

There are a lot of really cool dance moves and routines. How do they stay so fit? It seems like they are able to do things that would take a massive amount of muscle, yet many of the performers are very petite. Do they do P90X or something? http://Extremely-fit.com

I'm like you and find it hard to pick just one favorite but here's some that come to mind that I can watch over and over and not get sick of:
Season 2: Afro Pop by Heidi and Travis. Not many people mention this one in their favorites list but I loved it. Also, Donyelle/Benji Hairspray. The first time I saw that danced I was actually up out of my chair at the end haha. Heidi/Benji Mamabo - wow!, Heidi/Travis bench routine, and Heidi/Travis Paso Doble, though I always think this routine seems so short - but wow! what an entrance.
Season 3: Dom/Sabra Rhumba - she's just so smooooth. Hok/Jaime hummingbird-flower dance. Lacey/Pasha mannequin (sp?), Sabra/Neil business negotiations, Sabra/Dom hip hop to Make it Work, Sabra/Dom contemporary to stand by me, Neil and Lauren Night of the Dancing Flame (the one where she plays a good girl and him an evil dude by Wade Robson)
Season 4 (so far): Katee/Josh hip hop to No Air, Mark/Chelsea Burton Wedding and workaholic hip hop, Katee/Josh Samba
I think SYTYCD should put each routine on iTunes and let us download them (in good quality - not like you tube), and make a "favorites" DVD - don't you. I would be in heaven. LOL.

Yeah, the afro pop one isn't widely known but very well danced by Heidi and Travis. And thanks for mentioning the park bench one. How could I forget to mention that? That was an excellent routine - yet again from Heidi and Travis! The Night of the Dancing Flame one was also really good - one of Lauren's best. Another one of Lauren's best was with Danny, when they did Mia Michael's alien-y contemporary routine. That was pretty cool too.
I know what you mean about a dvd of favorites! That's an excellent idea that they should sell it on iTunes or something. I've been wanting to make one, but you can't purchase individual routines. I would love to make a compilation of my favorite dances in high quality and just watch them over and over again! The youtube works for a quick fix, but most of the quality is pretty bad.
