okay here the deal, i have wrote a story. which will soon be made into a comic book with the help of my family but the problem is this:
i need someone to read this story and tell me what they think. i have it set up at lulu.com to download (the price is their fee) it is 40 cents. now with that being said who would read it? i know from what my family has said that i could be the next stephen king.- but how does internet marketing work? how do i get people to read it? is there any sites out there that will help with this? any sites that are free for people to read my stuff so that i can get comments on it and try to impove it?
any help would be most apprieciated but i just dont know where to start.
if you want you can check it out at lulu.com/pukapratinc.
or if there are other sites that i can use i will post it there just so i can get some feed back on it. --
please all i need is help as to how to get it out there to be read. i really think that alot of people have been waiting for a story like this.

If you are will to be self published without even trying to get it published through a legitimate publisher then you must not have any faith in it.
However, if you do have the faith find out what publishers handle comics.
Don't go by your family's assessment of your writing ( they are your family, of course they like your writing), get a professional opinion. Yes, you will have to pay for it.
I know an editor if you are interested.

oh please help that would be great. i dont care right now about what i have to pay in order for it to be read- and as for my family, i dont really believe what they have to say, but the friends that have read it think it is so cool.
i have faith in my work. i have poured time, blood and even tears into this peice. i would really like help. thank you.

This is the editor's website: http://editu.webs.com/
Do not post your story anywhere. Not on a blog or anywhere else. Once on a blog it is considered published and no publisher is going to touch it.
If you want to be safe join a writing forum that uses a password.
The one I'm on is adults only, but absolutewrite.com is good.

that is too cool. i checked out the site and it is definately something i will use. many many thanks! you have made my day. (big smile) since what i put out on lulu.com is just the first chapter to see what kind of comments i could get, but now that i can get those comments done professionally, right on! you have made me very happy. thanks so much for sharing with me.
