Do You Find Starbucks Expensive?

I find the prices of Starbucks here are expensive, around US$4.4 for an ice grande-sized coffee. For that kind of prices, I could have a meal instead. Do you think its quality worths the price? Do you drink it regularly? Or do you just drink it once in awhile?

Not much more expensive than a cup anywhere else i suppose. Now mind you I don't drink anything extravagant. I don't like syrups or iced or any of that business. I order the same thing every time. A grande Americano with room for cream. This little treat costs about $2.30 and is comprised of shots of espresso and hot water. You then make it your own by adding cream or sugar. But for the record I have a Senseo machine and get Starbucks about once a week. So no its not so bad for me.

Yes, I do think Starbucks is expensive. I don't go there because it's expensive. Besides, I feel it wastes time to go there to drink a coffee. There are some kinds of people who seem to have professional careers. They tend to go to Starbucks and order a cup of coffee. Then turn on their laptops and stay there for a whole afternoon. In my opinion, it is silly. I love China

Hello wondericequeen, I seldom hang out there. I do feel that the price is a little bit pricey for just a cup of drink. But sometimes, I do go there just to have a change of environment from my usual hang out places.

I love Starbucks. I'm one of their biggest fans. But I only drink it about twice a month because it's pretty expensive. I do think their coffee drinks are of the highest quality. But, I only drink it once in awhile.

I think that the price of Starbucks is very high that might be part of the reason there business is off. I dont know if you have heard it but they are closing like 600 stores. I think they are trying to decrease the price of some of their coffees because they need to compete with McDonalds 1.00 per cup brews. I like Starbucks and they usually have plenty of people in their stores that's why I'm surprised about the closings.

Every now and then, I'll have coffee at Starbucks. I do it to try out their new concoctions. If I really like them, I'll make them myself, at home. Other than that, their prices are outrageous! That's why they announced earlier in the week that they'll be closing many of their stores. Even buying their coffee in the grocery store to make at home is ridiculously expensive. Many other brands cost far less, and they're as good or better.

I find Starbucks extremely expensive, and what's more, I don't even like their coffee. I much prefer the coffee at The Second Cup. At this point the Second Cup is not in the States, ut liing in Canada there is one near where I lie. I'm there right now, as a matter of fact using the wireless internet. When I go to the USA, I take coffee beans with me.

I go to Starbucks about once a month, sometimes less. I do it because of the convenience of a drive-through when I'm in a hurry. I do have to say that I am not fond of the quality of their coffee at all. I used to work in a small coffee shop while I was in college and not only were the prices a whole lot better, but they had great coffee. When you have good coffee and then go to Starbucks, you realize that you're just paying for the Starbucks name and not good quality. I have found most small coffee shops are cheaper and will have better coffee, especially those that roast their own beans.

Yes, Starbucks is quite expensive... but i think it is a lot cheaper in my country... compared to the U.S.... because an ice grande-sizd coffe sould cost around $3... depending on the flavor... but the cake and cookies cost a fortune... so i just buy the coffe and then go my way... and i only but starbuck when i have extra money...

I don't drink coffee, but hubby likes a cup once in a while and he can get a delicious senior coffee for less that 50 cents and we split a cheeseburger for $1 and a side salad, that is another $1 and then I get a hot fudge sundae from the dollar menu, too, and pour a tablespoon of his coffee over it and put a big scoop of the ice cream in his coffee. So we both have a full lunch for less than that one cup of coffee would cost at Starbucks and you know what? It probably doesn't have any more calories than the Starbucks either.

Starbucks is absolutely outrageous! I can say this with authority, because I worked there for thrtee months. Their profit margin is somewhere close to 90%, and I find that usury. Besides, their coffee really sucks. It's burned! Working there cured me of my coffee addiction of of 40 years.
