Ok , my english is not perfect but , I tried to read and understand what it says in the link you posted.
I didn't understand what is a matboard , and what is a posterboard.
Can you also clarify the picture at the bottom of the page ? it looks like just paper pieces that were coloured with brown shoes colour and were put with some glue maybe ... Is that leather ? ermmm...I guess now I understand the idea of that link , it's not real leather but masking-tape pieces painted with brown...
Cool.

Yes...That is true...It is very special when you make something by hand...I would have to agree on that part..I am not really good weith my hands,As I told the other person that made A post like this,All I know is that you would need some Leather, and if you did not have the leather then you would need the materials to make the leather, and then you would need the tools to proably help you make the leather, and you would need the right kind of the to keep the journal together, and you would also proably need some tools to make the journal, and to help you put it together,I wish you good luck with making you're journal, and if you have already made one, then I am happy for you,and I hope you're friends enjoy it,I am sorry I could not be of better help..Good luck on that, and if you don't succeedd with it the first time, then just keep on trying, the more you try to do things, and the more you fail at it the more you learn from the mistakes that you made in you're previous trys so just keep on trying, and hopefully if you haven't made it by now you will eventually..Good luck to You..

okay, I would like you to send me a pen with blessed by God on mine, when you are making a leather journal a really stylish one would have natural sewn seems of a slightly lighter color than the actual cover and then a really nice touch would be a tie to close it, or a snap.

Hi there ipolady ! I am a leathercrafter from Norway, and I make all kinds of leathergoods by hand.
I am not sure what you mean by leather journal, but I have made a few things that might be of interest to you.
I can show you how to make your own.
Could send you photos and description how to do.
:)

I didn't find where Leather.com has something to do with books binding (even it deals with leather).
Did you read it ? I guess that website is more about clothes of leather , but , I didn't even found out about things one can do with leather as a material for work.
Just wear it as a cloth.

I am afraid that I don't know how to make a leather journal, but I hope that you had much luck in creating one! What I found really interesting about your post is that you own your own pen company site. That is so cool! I'm definitely going to take a look at it. I would also like to see any leather journals that you created. It was such a neat offer for you to offer 20 free pens to someone that helped you. Thanks for posting! ^_^
