His son and daughter are coming on television saying that we need to pull together in this difficult time. The funny thing is people are really booing loud after they say stuff like that and there sending a message by say you think were fools. After past tragidies it seems like he would know not to do stuff like that.

I don't think that it was done in bad taste at all. The WWE puts on a TV show. Why should it be held to different standards than what we see every night on primetime (network or cable) television? Sure, the performances inside of the ring are framed as "athletic contests," but make no mistake... this is pure entertainment. That's what it's all about.
Don't get me wrong, I was not impressed by the stunt. I think that it's a tired angle, and frankly, another gimmick that makes Vince McMahon the main focus of the show, when the spotlight should be firmly on the wrestlers. Then again, it has taken him off of TV for a few weeks, at least (and ended the horrid cash giveaway stuff), so I guess I'll take it.
But, I digress... On the TV show "24" there are often several characters killed off per episode, for instance. The show's plots and storylines create drama. That is all the WWE is attempting to do. I try to have fun with it. If Teddy Long has a heart attack, or something like that, well... that is something that could happen in "real life," right? I try to have fun with it, and want to see where they go with the storyline.
Same with the McMahon angle. Obviously, he's not hurt, but what will this lead to? It's all in fun, kind of like the "Who shot JR" storyline on "Dallas" years ago. Again, why is (or why should) wrestling held to a different standard when it comes to things like this?

Its another storyline that doesnt seem to be liked, in a way its got good points and bad points though good points it gets Vince off the screen for abit so he can concentrate on running the company that we all love the bad point is it makes Vince the centre of attention again when the attention really should be on what is happening in the ring and fueds being built up for matches, aside from the recent Jericho/Michaels feud the other feuds dont have enough base to them to really pull you in.
