Everytime I check my notifications from myLot. I observed that there were some notifications that lands on my spam mail. Even my myLot digest sometimes goes to it. I was wondering why is that so? Have you observed like this one too? Do some of your notifications goes to your spam mail? If so, what did you do? You just let it be? or you did something so all notifications will be on your inbox? Happy myLotting to all. HUGZ!

Hi dhangski, I am sure it will not be the mistake of mylot. It will be the e-mail provider some times send notifications to spam folder. It happening to me also. Good Luck.

That has happened to me, before! Most times when I use my Yahoo email box everything goes to my spam mail and I don't even know that I'm getting emails until I check there! Just check it and mark "Not spam" and that should fix the problem.

Hi dhangski,I have noticed that too and when I checked once, I also got a copy in my inbox..I do know if it's true to all but I didn't care to track it plus I don't have any idea how to edit it so it will all be in my inbox.. that is why I also hang out a lot in " friends started" so I won't miss any post of my friends!

Yes some of my noticifcations go into spam. but i dont actually get spam in my mail box. so if there is anything in my spam folder. i know its mylot. or somthing else i am signed up for so it doesnt bother me. i just check it and leve it the way it is... though i do not know how to fix it wither so theres nothing i could really do about it anyways.

This happens to me too when I use Gmail. The way most email systems are programmed is depending on the topic or title of the actual notification that is being sent to your email box. Most spam systems in emails will recognize what they assume to be spam or not. So then you'll have some mylot emails go to your inbox and some go to your spam box, but the ones that go to your spam box doesn't necessarily mean it is spam from Mylot. Even the same goes when doing notification from other sites such as Yuwie -- Same thing happens to mine when I get notifications in Yahoo Mail.

I aven't gotten a MyLot notification in my SPAM box in a long time, but I constantly check my spam box, just to make sure that nothing really interesting winds up in that box.

Most of my notifications go to my inbox but a few do find their way into the spam box. I don't know why it happens.

I have no spam filter in my catch-all email so everything goes to my inbox. A very easy way to allow emails into the inbox is to whitelist it or add the addressee to your email address book. The spam filter will allow these emails through.

Hi friend, i was having the same problem a few weeks ago and a good friend of mine here on mylot helped me solve my problem. If you say that your notification are going to your spam folder. what you should do is try adding something from mylot to your address book and see if that helps. i did that and it worked for me. because it was really bugging me when i was not receiving my notifications.

Yes I had that before so what I did is to include the e-mail add of mylot in my list of contacts to avoid such again.
