I can't remember being punished-thank God or having silent treatment-that's more unbearable. It's always shouting and nagging. Now that i have my own kids i try not to shout nor give punishments. If my kids specially the boy and my youngest gets very naughty i would send them to the corner and it is working.I've tried the shouting once,me and my hubby got a bad day and argued about it.lol.How about you?
Have you ever been scolded by your parents? What was their style?Did they give you the silent treatment?Or gave you a corporal punishment-like kneel on some tiny beans, spread out arms with books on each hand?Or shout and nag every time they set their eyes on you?Would you use the same style as your parents did or you have your own way/style of scolding?

My parents would tell us of show us they were dissapointed in what we had done, that alone was enough, and I find mostly thats enough with my own children too. Shouting never ever gets anyone anywhere children dont listen to that they might be scared of it so do as they are told but who the hell wants their children to operate through fear alone, certainly not me!
