the stars?

This is a good question to a new user .The star beside your name will come out after you have posts 100th of posting.The star represent that your quality of your answer that you have post.The best quality of your answer ,the star will become higher.Every numbers of star have it's own color.Just like me,my star is 8 and it's color is yellow.

I asked the same question. I was told the number represents your ratings, how people rate you on your discussions. To the right of the discussion box there are 3 symbols, - + and something else. So now I understand the number, makes sense, but I still did not get a clear understanding about the color of the star. And you will receive your first star after you reach 100 posts. Hope this helped a little.

Hi there! The star ratings stands for you reputation here on mylot. It is how other members rate you. The higher the rating the better your reputation is. But you don't get the star until you reach your 100th posts. Good luck! Keep on posting and reach for the star!

I would like to know the answer as well. I know that once you get 100 posts, you get a yellow star by your name. Then after 200 posts, I think you can post smileys in your posts.
