Hair colour gone wrong

When I coloured my hair last week from light blonde to a darker shade it turned khaki green! I went on the internet to get advise about this and a few web sites told me to put tomato ketchup on it which I did and it worked to a certain degree but still has a slight green tinge. Has this happened to anyone else or does anyone have any tips on what else to use?

It is very common when using an "Ash" tone to have it turn your hair green. I did this once when I was in high school. I tried the ketchup thing too...I also tried washing my hair with straight viniger (helped a little)...but alas I found that the only way to get it totally fixed was to have it redone by a qualified professional. Probably not the best of answers (or cheapest) but it was what worked. Good Luck and remember you will laugh about this someday.
