My cousin is 11 years old, she has been suffering from hair fall that extended from a small patch on her head to almost all of her head! it has destroyed her emotionally and psychologically... any ways of curing this disease?? we tried almost all of the prescribed medicines..

oh dear i am so sorry to hear about that. this must be devastating for a 11 year old. in fact, it'll be devastating for anyone. my heart really goes out to her.
i've read somewhere that it can be cure. some times it'll even go away without any treatment. in the mean time, maybe you want to consider getting her pretty hats and caps. at least she'll feel happier wearing them and not have to endure stares from strangers. talk to her teachers about allowing her to wear them to school. it'll make her feel special and less upset about the situation too. hope she recover soon, cheers.

hey.. thanks for your compassion!
actually she is a bit better now, it gets worse with psychological stress, so once we made her accept the fact of the disease, and made her believe in the only way of treatment, which is relaxing and not thinking about it much..
she's now recovering!

great to hear that she is recovering. it's really hard for anyone to accept the fact of this disease. she is really strong for a 11 year old. good for her that she is able to relax. tell her that she is a very strong girl and i'm sure she will get better. cheers

that's exactly right.. to get rid of tensions and eat healthy food are two of the best ways to cure the hair fall.. but here we're talking about a disease that is genetic to some extent.. and it causes lots of embarrasments and pain.. especially if the sick person is a girl.
