Rahul Dravid vs Saurav Ganguly

no comparison between RD and DADA.Rahul Dravid is best in all type of cricket pattern.he is most techenically acurate batsman in the world.and he proves wrong to all theories that he can not fit in the t-20 pattern.

ganguly man with a guts,he is a great player,amazing strokes and power he has,lot of ups and down in his carrier still he is the best compare to dravid .....and ganguly captanship was also good,i felel we should still give him chance to play in ODI for a year are so,he has given lot for indian cricket so we shoudl respect them and give chance to ganguly and sachin till they get retired and also they are playing better then youngsters so they have all rights to be in indian team,,,,,,,,,,,

Well you are right that a player should not be judged according to the format of the game in the long term. Because we all know that ganguly is better in one-day format of the game and dravid is better in the test format of the game. But I personally feel that the player should be judged according to his match-winning innings. If you compare the two players on that ground is then you will see that dravid is a very technically correct player but he is not able to win a lot of matches for his team whereas his counterpart has done a lot better in winning matches. And I personally feel that this is the only reason I rate him more than dravid. dravid is a player who will stay at the crease and provide Anchorage to all the players but you need someone who is a complete matchwinner to win the match for you. He cannot do that for you. This is very important and that is the reason why the team that Australia is winning so many matches. They have a lot of matchwinners in their team who can turn the game from the opponents at any point of time which is very important. Especially when your team is in deep trouble these kinds of players are only capable of running the game around and that is the reason why they are rated more than other the players. That is the reason why Sir Viv Richards is a living legend and considered to be one of the greatest players ever born. The reason is when he was on the crease he completely dominated the bowling attack and all the bowlers looked so simple in front of him.

My favourite batsman is Dada Saurav.I like the way he hits the six especially the straight six its great to watch it. Now all are young batsmen they need some time to establish them self. Any way i like suresh raina.

dravid is one of the most technically correct batsmen and he can also improvise and do some powerful hitting as we have witnessd in this IPL.......gangully is a natural strokemaker and a bit more aggressive...but as a complete batsman i choose rahul dravid.....

Dravid is one of the top Number 3 batsman in the world. He is truly test player, his techniques and patience are very strong. Ganguly is little aggressive best suit for one day game. I prefer Dravid for test as well as one day game.

rahul and sourav are two giants of cricket. if i had to choose between rahul and sourav, i would choose rahul for his uncanny knack to bail India out of trouble time and agian. Sourav gave India the initial impetus, however rahul coming down at number 5 gave india the finishing touch or the so called edge in ODi's. It goes without saying that rahul was the best number 3 of his generation, it would be a tall statement to say that rahul is better than ricky, however rahul at his peak was better than ricky. critics might deny it, however i have my own views..
