what's the best laptop producers so far?

I go for Acer as i am already using Acer laptop and i just luv it..it has evrything including webcam, CD DVD Writer..

I have owned two compaq laptops, and my husbad, who was in charge of selecting and buying laptops for his company also purchased laptops. We both highly reccomend compaq laptops (ow HP I beliee) to anyone who wishes to purchse a laptop in the near future.

I personally don't look on the brand, Its the service support available in ones locality that should be given more emphasis. Different users anyway uses laptop differently so one that work well for others mat not work for you. There are cases too that in a particular brand, there is one model that would turn out lemon compared to their line of models. So I think it would be better to be specific when it come to this one.

i guess you should know what my answer should be from my nick. i love apple and i think they produce the best laptops. i started using the ibook three years ago. then i got myself a macbook pro and passed the ibook to my partner. till now the ibook is still going on strong. my macbook pro is a breeze to use and it has not given me any problem since i got it more than a year back. i don't think i'll ever switch to another brand ever. cheers ;p
