I've been kite-boarding for around two years now, ripping in up on the sandy beaches! and now I feel its time for me to make the cross from land onto the water and start kite-surfing!!
When I'm on my dirt-board, I use a 4.5 meter kite but my new kite for the water is 10 meters! It gets here in two days. I cant wait! I have flown my friends 9.5 meter kite in very light winds over the park and it felt awesome. You could really feel the power behind it....
so any of you lot been where i am?

What is kite-boarding? the impression i get is of someone attaching a kite to a board and you just let the wind blow on the kite and the kite drags your board along. is that what you mean? creates a funny picture in my mind though. reminds me of one of those cartoons I used to see when I was a kid. Flintstones I think.

Yeah thats pretty much it! If you get the right conditions - its amazing! Just the air time alone is totally sick, I am telling you. I actually brought insurance today! I still have to choose a board too! i cant wait.
