HA HA HA!!! THIS WAS HILARIOUS!!! If anything like this ever happened to me I think my child would be in very serious trouble...grounded for life :P Read on and you'll see what I mean:
WHY PARENTS DRINK
The boss of a big company needed to call one of his employees about an urgent problem with one of the main computers, dialed the employee's home phone number and was greeted with a child's whisper.
"Hello."
"Is your daddy home?" he asked.
"Yes," whispered the small voice.
"May I talk with him?"
The child whispered, "No."
Surprised and wanting to talk with an adult, the boss asked, "Is your Mommy there?"
"Yes."
"May I talk with her?"
Again the small voice whispered, "No."
Hoping there was somebody with whom he could leave a message, the boss asked, "Is there anybody else there?"
"Yes," whispered the child, "a policeman."
Wondering what a cop was doing at his employee's home, the boss asked, "May I speak with the policeman?"
"No, he's busy," whispered the child.
"Busy doing what?"
"Talking to Daddy and Mommy and the Fireman," came the whispered answer.
Growing concerned ane even worried as he heard what sounded like a helicopter throught the earpiece on the phone the boss asked, "What is that noise?"
"A hello-copper," answered the whispering voice.
"What is going on there?" asked the boss, now truly alarmed.
In an awed, whispered voice the child answered, "The search team just landed the hello-copper."
Alarmed, concerned, and even more than just a little frustrated the boss asked, "What are they searching for?"
"ME."
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I would definitely need a drink after that one!!! What do you think?

lol no kidding....actually when i was younger, i had to leave a friends who lived near by and go home, i was on bike. For some reason i thought i was going to be in a lot of trouble about something. After about 20 minutes, i still hadn't showed up at home, so my parents called my friends and asked if i had left yet, they told them i had left 20 minutes ago. Getting worried now because it only should have taken me 5 minutes to get home, my parents called some other friends to see if i had gone there, they were told i was not there. My parents, my brother and sister, and all of my friends parents were out on the street searching for me. My sister just happened to go into the back yard after a while and there she found me curled up under the picnic table asleep.

LOL...that was hilarious...I think I would need a drink too!
I have a real life story that shared some similarities...when my nephew was little, my sister put him down for his nap. Later she checked on him and he was not in his bed. She searched the house but he was no where to be found so the volunteers and search team was brought in (rural area, lots of woods). Anyway after a couple hours, my nephew kind of appeared out of no where and asked one of the rescue personel what was going on! It turned out that his bed wasn't flush against the wall and he'd slipped down between the bed and the wall. When my sister looked for him she threw his blankets off the bed toward that side covering him up even more.

Foxy, THAT IS HILARIOUS!!! I'm glad your nephew was okay and still inside the house but it is funny to think that all that time he had just fallen off his bed :P Thanks for the response :D

It kind of reminds me of one of those radio shows where they have a little kids voice giggling and saying really inapppropriate things about the parents. He's alswyas giggling and saying goofy things in a litle child's voice. I wish I
could hear more of those commercials they are funny. I think the little kids name was "bobby" It sounds alot like a bobby comerical.

Hatley, I think I'd have to break the rule too...as for the dad getting in trouble...I don't think he would since the boss himself was on the phone with the child and found out what was going on first hand. I'm glad I could make you smile. Thanks for the response :D

That's a good one. When we go out in public my youngest daughter had this way she used get right smack behind me under my butt. She wouldn't touch me or anything she'd just be right there where I couldn't see her. It would always freak me out when we would get to the register and I do a glancing head count. "Where is your sister!!!" The kids always thought I was just being silly, but my heart would jump a little in my chest everytime. LOL

Carter, I hate when my youngest daughter does that...only she ends up just behind me or on the other side of me. I'll catch myself getting ready to yell her name or I'll get half way through yelling it when she says, "Yeah, mommy?" But my heart will jump out of my chest as well when I can't find one of my kids. I have 2 kids of my own and my boyfriend has 3 that are considered my step children and there are times when I forget that one has left the house. Let me tell you how freaked out we both get until we remember they went to a friends house or something. Thanks for the post :D

That is very odd. I bet that kid was joking, because that could ruin his parent's job.

Vork, it is just a joke that I recieved. And I dunno if it would cause his parents to lose their job because the boss was already concerned and he knew it was all the little boys fault. The parents were just being concerned about their little boy. Thanks for the response :D
