Fear of flying

I myself don't have a fear of it but I know a few people that do.
If you have a fear of flying why do you fear it?
Plane crashing?
Something going wrong?

The only fear I have with flying is that I can miss my flight, or have a difficult time getting around with procedures. Oh the dreaded steps to traveling.

I don't like flying. But if I have to fly, I make sure that I am sleeping all the way to the destination. I can't be awake with the fear in my head that something bad might go wrong. I mean, I want to be either asleep or wasted so I am passed out. The fear kills me. And then don't let the turbulence start, I go ape-ish inside. Its crazy.
