OK sorry for reposting again...This time ill specify what I need exactly..
HI,
Next week or the week after Im going to move out from our house to an apartment with my cousin cause the college I go to is kinda far from our house thats why Im about to buy a new laptop this coming week and I have no idea what are the things to consider in buying one cause my mom wouldn't allow me to bring our desktop.
Anyway, I would like to use it for schoolworks and of course gaming. So i really need a laptop that has a great memory and fast and it is wi-fi supported..well I guess all laptops today are wifi supported right? And I dont have that big budget so Im hoping to find something that is not expensive.
So can you guys give me some pointers on what to look for in a Laptop and whats the best laptop there is in the market???? And what brand and model it is...??

Well, I am also planning to buy a laptop so I can not give much information on how to choose one to buy. But I asked my friends and they told me that the first to consider in buying a laptop is the memory of the computer, the bigger the memory, the better. Aside from that, there should be a large storage disk especially when you are student and there are lots of paper works and other data to be saved. Not all laptops has a wi-fi connection but for those which does not have, there is a wi-fi enabled device to be connected in the laptop like a flash dish wi-fi. Good luck and hope you choose the best for you! Cheeers!

I think Mac laptops are really good laptops for me. If you are looking for a laptop with good specs then you can try the mac book with these specs:
2GB RAM (You can upgrade it to 4GB)
160 or 180 GB HardDisk
2.4GHz Inter-Core-Duo
WiFi Ready
I have a new macbook now. The specs are lower than the specs I have posted above. But mac laptops are really good. But a bit expensive. However, you won't regret it.

Hi again lol, right I see, like i said, for the things you are using it for i would suggest this.
2GB RAM OR MORE
DUAL OR QUAD CORE PROCESSOR
256MB VGA OR BETTER
150GB HARD DISK.
Yes most laptops today come with a wireless card (WiFi) but just ask when you purchase it .
The best suggestion i can give you in terms of good laptops would be Alienware laptops.
They are very powerful laptops and are good for gaming, they will be able to run current games easy. However they are usually quite expensive but there is a finance option where you can pay monthly.
Here are the websites
Uk - www.alienware.co.uk
Outside of Uk- www.alienware.com
I cant really suggest any other laptops as most laptops are not good for gaming because most people use them for word processing etc etc....
I would go with alienware if i were you but just have a look.
Hope this helps
Thank you
