hi dfolin.
yes i do. in fact i have a spaghetti recipe that uses all vegetables insted of meat or pork. i put potatoes, carrots, red and green bell peppers, and eggplants. it's more nutricious than the usual spaghetti dish and is a good way to lose the extra pounds without sacrificing the taste.

MMMMM That sounds good. I make a vegetable lasagna, but I've never made a veggie spaghetti sauce.

No when i serve spaghetti ,thats our entire meal along with garlic bread...It is a complete meal within itsself..I have my sauce, spaghetti and the bread...I don't see any reason to serve a vegetable.I know some people serve salad, but i don't...When I serve homemade soup or stew ,i just serve that with bread as well, sometimes cornbread..I do like one dish meals...

This might be silly but this came to a shock to me as well. What vegetables do I serve with spaghetti? What do you mean isn't spaghetti enough? Then there are the people who put chunky vegetables in their spaghetti sauce. What is with that? Oh I can see using tiny chunks of onion, mushrooms and even some small chunks of celery but big junks of carrots just turn me right off. I love carrots it is just that I want my spaghetti to just be that; normal spaghetti.

No! I've never served veggies
with spaghetti.
Sometimes I do cook up veggies
and blend into the spaghetti, like
mushrooms, green peppers and onions.
But never on the side!

I cooked spaghetti w/ some vegetables like, carrots, greenpeas, red pepper..Its pretty cool actually ..Its deliecios specially if you put green peas w/ it.The taste of the greenpeas combine w/ the sauce taste smooth..
I really like spaghetti w/ vegetable i find only sauce and meat so boring so i tried to mixed up some thing..onetime and i ilike it..And evry now and then if i cook spaghetti i put everytime some vegetable.
Enjoy cooking and have anice day!
Take care..
Greetings from Che!

Yes! Sure! Spaghetti can be served with vegetables. I make spaghetti with vegetable and cook with some sauce to make tasty. I add following flavors and vegetable:Saute some chopped garlic
Chopped capsicum
Chopped Carrot
Chopped onion
Chili garlic sauce
Tomato ketchup
Oyster sauce
Some salt (if required)
Pepper
And last but not least
Boiled Spaghettis
This is very tasty!!!

You mean side-dish? I usually serve spaghetti just with garlic bread but not with vegetable.

Normally we don't serve a veggie with our spaghetti. Sometimes I will serve corn with it, though. But usually not. Spaghetti is a one dish meal, I think. No real reason for side dish of veggies with it.

When my son is around I always serve spaghetti with steak. When we are by ourselves I always avoid the steak and have it with lots of tomatoes and onions.I do not know about the combination we like it that way.

I have never ate vegetables with spaghetti before. I usually just have garlic bread with mine. I do like to eat salad with my spaghetti sometimes though. I do also like to add some tomatoes to my spaghetti saice too. A salad goes really well with it.

My last girlfriends mom made spaghetti with zucchini and squash chunks in with the sauce. I thought it was a bit odd at first, but it is truly delicious.

No, not unless we're adding one to the sauce. But, we do often serve a fruit with it (fruit cocktail, tropical fruit mix, etc.) Almost all restaurants give you the choice of vegetables or pasta - the two just don't go together, although I'm sure you could have one if you wanted.

Hi my friend,
Whenever I serve spaghetti all I have with it is the spaghetti sauce, spaghetti and garlic bread. I figure the tomatoes in the sauce are enough vegetable for me in the meal. LOL
I have been at restaurants and sometimes they will serve a nice green salad with the meal. With all the calories in the pasta etc. I probably don't need anything else though.
Have a nice night,
Char
:-)
