why are the miz and morrison the tag team champions?

Probably by default because there really isn't anyone really challenging them for the belts. I expect Finlay and Hornswoggle to lose this one and the only team I could have honestly pictured going for them would be Jesse & Festus. That's about it as far as teams go. Personally, they should just unite the tag titles and have them on all the brands. That way, you could determine who is the best tag team of them all.

Tag team championships unfortunately don't mean a lot in the WWE, anymore. They keep breaking up tag teams and pairing two singles stars together and making them champs. I disagree with you that they stink, though. Miz has definitely improved in the ring since he first came to the WWE and Morrison has always been very athletically gifted. They also are rather entertaining on "The Dirt Sheet." That being said, I wish they would've given Deuce and Domino a title reign that has lasted this long.
