What is your FAVORITE COLOR? and how will you describe it to a BLIND MAN?

... But try to ponder on this discussion and give yourself a challenge of FINDING AND THINKING A WAY how TO DESCRIBE YOUR FAVORITE COLOR to a blind man WHO WAS NOT ABLE TO SEE what it really looks like since he was born in this world. And pls make it convincing to make that BLIND MAN LIKE the color your are describing.
And just for fun, I'll be the blind man... and whoever can convince me to like your favorite color... I WILL DEFINITELY MAKE YOUR RESPONSE the BEST among the rest.
Please be creative and remember... I AM BLIND (though I am really not. LOL
) so better pretend that I AM REALLY THAT MAN!

My favorite color is corduroy!
j/k it's green and all you have to do is think about how nature feels.
Green has so many layers and tints that can dazzle the eye!
This reminds me of an old joke.
what is a blind persons favorite color?
corduroy -because they can feel it.
Please know that I am not being mean, I am disabled myself.
The very idea of not seeing is something that I can't phantom.
Those of us that can see should just think about what it would be
like to not be able to.

hi rhythmwalker, is corduroy a color? i think it is a kind of cloth. well that is what i know that corduroy is not a color. i have two pants made of corduroy and it is brown and beige. please educate me more for i found it also at the net is corduroy is a kind of cloth.
Definitions of 'corduroy' - A durable cut-pile fabric, usually made of cotton, with vertical ribs.

Oh. a classic question for an interview. here's my answer. Yellow. whenever you wake up in the morning you feel this energy. you know that it's morning even though your blind and cannot see it. why? when you come out from your house you feel the warmth of the sun giving you strength to make it throught the day. That is yellow. the power of the sun generating from the sky that gives us life. i bet you had an interview and this question was asked.

this is a cool discussion you have her jhordie. i really was thinking of a good way to convince you.... but i really dont know if i can convince you i will still give it a try. my favorite color is yellow. and i will toast a bread and put butter on it. while the butter is melting i will let you smell it. that is what color yellow is. and i will let you have a bite on how good a buttered toast is. then that is color yellow. it is a sunny day feeling that is what yellow is.

Ok, I love green and pink but I will choose green now! I will pretend that I am talking to you! LOL!
I know you can't see and what is in your vision now is all dark! I love green and this is the color of all the trees specifically their leaves and the grasses. It makes the surrounding beautiful and cool when these trees are all alive since when people will start to cut them, they will turn brown and they will die..
When you will hear the rain, it means good to all these trees and grasses...They need water to be more healthy and more greener!

My favorite color is pink. The reason why is, for me it symbolizes the femininity. It's being bubbly as well. What I will do to describe color pink to a blind person since birth...I'll bring that person to a party, specifically a debut party. Wherein he/she can enjoy all night long. I will tell that person, this is how the color pink look likes, it's a "girl thing".

My favorite color is blue my why to describe it would be to go to a ocean that is blue and to go into it and also desribe the sky during the day it is blue. I have a blind cousin so I sort of understand how to discribe colors.

My favorite color is blue. Blue comes in many shades and therefore it has many moods.My favorite shade is royal blue. It is cool like a fall breeze and rich as a brownie all at the same time. But there is also sky blue which is fluffy and light like cotton candy or a cotton ball.I also like navy blue. It is colder than royal. It is like the coldness of a windy, snowy day.But it is deeper so it is more like a snowy night.And then there is a green blue too that I wear a lot. It is cool breeze blowing on warm grass. It is cool and has some warmth.

I've known a few blind people, among them a Piano-tuner, and a Writer, but my favorite blind person was a Carpenter. He was quite amazing and able to produce fine work. I once stopped at his place and found him laboring in his work shop. He stopped work as I approached called me by name. We sat, talked for a while, and as I stood up to go, he picked up his hammer and SAW!

My favourite color is green, light green.. It's a color in the forest and it belonmgs to the nature.. U can feel it around u whereby u go.. ANd the feeling is even stronger when u are out in the forest or even landscape.. U will feel a sense of closeness to it because it's nature that brings u out to this earth and experience everything..

My favorite color is blue. And I think the best way to describe it to a blind person is comparing it with water. I'd explain that the cold sensation can be compared to how you feel when you see the color. Blue is a very calm and cool color and water definitely represents this the best.

I love pink. Pink is the color of innocence, of birth, of new life. Pink is the color of youth, endless youth and being kid at heart. It also sinks in when you're in love, when you gotta crush, when you like someone in the most gentle, and wholesome way.

my favorite color is red... id show that it is warm compared to blue being cool..
I would put something hot in his hands so to get the feel of the colour and say that is red. red is like fire.
red like the oolour that runs through your veins,
A colour we associate with love because love makes you feel really warm inside, love from family makes you feel warm when they hug you..

This is one of the hardest discussions I have ever seen. How can we talk to a blind man, like saying there is a black spider in her ceiling. My gosh, Jhordie, this is difficult, really. But I say, my favorite color is blue.
Hey blind man, you missed a lot of beautiful places to be see. I want you to experience how it feels to be in the mountains. At the top of it, is the city below. I feel sad that I cannot bring you there. Would you be happy for it, blind man?

My favorites are white and blue... blue is hard to describe. LoL. So I'll stick with white. White symbolizes purity of heart and sincerity, so white, is best described as a feeling of compassion and willingness. You are white when you are chaste and sincere, when you are kind and open to other people's feelings and thoughts. When you care about people around you and not just your own sake. White is like resonating one's entity with another person, it comes with comfort and it soothes the soul... just like how the color soothes one's eyes.

When I was younger I used to think my favorite color was green. It seemed to me that green symbolized life and nature and a clean natural way of life. If green had a smell it would smell like fresh cut grass in the summer. Now I think my favorite color is yellow. The walls of my house are painted a light yellow color and it makes me feel warm and happy every day. Yellow would smell like lemons and feel like warm sunshine on your face.

my favorite color is blue, if you're a blind mane, the only way to describe that color to you is trough your other senses. the color blue is the feeling you feel whenever you're left alone with no one to comfort you. that's what the color blue is.
