Does anyone else besides myself enjoy old movies? This past week I watched the "3:10 to Yuma", "the woman" and Casablanca to name a few. I really love the way movies where shot back then. I like the detail to the story telling that they use. I love the way that women dressed back then...old hollywood glamor. I love the hair styles and the way men treated women. It seems like that was a more graceful and elegant time compared to now. Does any think so too?

I'm a fan of old movies, I love Singing in the Rain. Cleopatra, Sound of Music. Anna and the King and other Roger's and Hammerstein's musicals as well. I think that these movies are really good because most of them are really feel good movies.

Old movies can be great. I love "Casablanca," "The Maltese Falcon," and "The Thin Man" series.
I agree about the clothing. It is fabulous.

I'm with you. I enjoy them because it reminds me of my childhood. I like to see the furniture, clothing and habits of people back then. Did you notice there was alot of smoking, drinking etc. It brings back memories of how my parents were. I remember seeing my mother primping in front of the mirror, seeing her bureau filled with the brush, comb and hand mirror set on top, also the perfume bottles with the squeeze tops. It does seem to have been a easier paced time.
