Are crop-circles man-made or .......?

What are your views on crop-circles. Are they an act of man, god or some extra-terrestrial being? Having watched the documentary on Discovery Channel I came to know that it is possible for man to make such impressions on the field in one single night, but why would anyone do so. Don't they have any work to venture out into the fields in the middle of the night just to toil away making the intricate design. So, if not humans then who? What do you think is the origin of this beautiful piece of design cropping up all of a sudden at night.

i believe they are man made.. for some kind of propogenda or something... UFOs aren't that silly!

The program was very interesting , irrespective of what people finally conclude. The one crop circle which I read about recently, and which intrigued me the most was the diagramatic representation of the mathematical constant "pi". Will be interesting to know how that one came about ?

I think that they're man-made. I saw the same feature on Discovery and the ones that people claim to be made by UFOs are actually made by people at night. It's interesting though to see that the designs made are very nice and yes, in your words, intricate. Pretty good for something done over night.
