If you see a road or traffic sign, do you follow it? As an example, it you were traveling at mid-night and you came across a stop light. If the intersection is clear (no pedestrians and cars because it is midnight), would you cross it right away or wait for the green light before you go?Just Curious,
SFC

I always make sure to abide by rules and regulations. I admit however, that there were times in the past that I have violated some. My girlfriend would even scold me if I violate these traffic and road signs.

Yes i always follow the rules as i feel that if i do go through a police man is waiting just round the corner to book people and they hide well. Even if the car is more shinny of a night with the reflective stickers

Yes, I try my best to follow the rules of the road, even late at night. There was one time late at night years ago that I was tempted to run a red light. Other than a couple of cars behind me, there was no traffic. But the light was red for us and it stayed that way for several minutes. I think the darn thing was on a timer. But I decided against running it as I worried there would be a cop hiding around the corner, just waiting for someone to run a red light, so I waited until it turned green.
Nowadays there are cameras on most of the traffic lights where I live so it wouldn't be a good idea to run a red light, even late at night, unless you are willing to get a hefty fine for it.

I have very often crossed the road when I find that there is no traffic around. In fact on my way to work I have to cross about five traffic lights and I never wait for the signal to turn green. Bad habit, right?

I am not the one driing, so it's ot "my choice" in he end, but I will peak up if someone I'm with does not follow the road signs. I will not tolerate drivers who don', and I don't want to be in the car with such people. I also don't want to be in he car with people who don't wear their seatbelts either.
