do you get them out the car seats and take the kids in with you when you go to pay for petrol??
or
do you leave them in the car, making sure all the doors are locked??
just curious what other people do I live in a country town and they still fill me car up for me so i don't have to get out and pay. but a few of my friends live in the city where you have to pay before you put petrol in..

This is one of my pet peeves.
I refuse to leave my child in the car while I "run" in ANYWHERE. There are too many possibilities of something going wrong. It only takes a moment.
The bottom line is, people leave their kid(s) in the car to save time and to make it easier on THEMSELVES. Being a parent means you don't get to be selfish anymore. Is that little bit of a hassle (taking your child out of the car seat and putting he/she back in it) not worth it? Is avoiding those extra few moments worth risking losing your child? PSSSSHHHTTTTT...HELL NO. At least not to me.
Is it likely that in that one minute someone would be able to get into your vehicle and drive away with your child or get into your vehicle and remove your child from it? No...it's not likely...but it IS possible. That's all I need to know, it's POSSIBLE. There's enough to worry about when it comes to protecting my child...there's enough that's out of my hands already...why would I want to add to that list?
People who aren't willing to take the time out to ENSURE their child's safety have no right being a parent OR they haven't been taught properly and someone needs to take the time out to educate them.

see that's PERFECT. lol.
we don't really have that out here in Southern California. The few places that do full service charge $.10 more a gallon. So it's really not worth it.
