Rap music: Sensorship or Not

I have a huge problem right now. I love rap music/r&b. However, since the lyrics are so over the top I cant listen to the radio when I am in the car with my kids. I love listening to Little Wayne, right now he is my favorite. "Lollipop"? Can you really listen to that with your kids? I was wondering if the radio stations and the music industry would agree to only play those sexually suggestive tunes after 9pm when kids should be in bed? Do you think that rap artists would be upset with this? I am just trying to find a way to protect my childrens' innocence for as long as I can and still enjoy the music I absolutely love. Tell me what you think...

This is something I could easily get on my soapbox about, since I can't stand rap, but I'm not going to. The only suggestion I could offer is to just not listen to it when your children are in the car, if that is even possible. The radio stations are not going to limit playing this music to times after 9 pm without the government forcing them to do so which would result in censorship, which violates the freedom of speech. And, it would upset the artists and probably more so the record label companies that the artists belong to.

I just wisht the artists would consider how awful it is for parents to play their music with young kids in the car. because of that, i just don't play it. even the so called cleaned up versions are so obvious its not worth playing.
