what do you do if you feel like your being bullied at work and no one believes you? my boss is a abnoxious jerk who keeps yelling at me, kinda like on the movie "Hancock". In real life you can't tell you boss to buzz off so how do you handle it? I can't function.

I know exactly how you feel. I was working for the same type, until three weeks ago when I was let go. This person, found fault with everything I did, even though it was correct, and I was blamed for everyone's mistakes. Day in and day out I never knew what to expect, I was a tangled bag of nerves each morning before going to work. I have worked many years, and have always received great annual reviews, so I do not see why all of a sudden I would sell myself short at this job. She finally got her wish and let me go, on the pretense that I still did not know how to do my job after one year of employee there. There is a probation period, why then was I not let go within that period? She hated me, I have no reason why. So, now I am unemployed, and have not been able to collect unemployment, because I was not terminated because of lack of work. I have a phone interview with a claims examiner on Tuesday, that will determine, if I can collect or not. In the interim, I have no income, so I guess the BIG BAD BOSS, should be happy that she has basically destroyed someone's life. I say to you if you can find something else do so, or if you can afford to leave do so, and find another job. Good Luck,

it makes me so sad to hear that. all the major employers are suppose to be obligated to follow certain guidelines to ensure fairness in the work place...but who enforces it. I am so tired of being beat up everyday. It's a rotten time to quit a job so I can just imagine how you must feel to be let go. I feel that termination is in my future...sadly. Stay strong and I really hope you get the unemployment. I have been searching for jobs everywhere. It's really difficult. all these companies require you to put your resumes online but I haven't gotten a single call. I have been applying for jobs for 3 months now. I check my email and voice messages every day anticipating a call....but no call....
