The water we have here is drinkable water and therefore more than good enough to brush your teeth (since you actually spit out the water).
I do know that there are countries where you use boiled water but I don't know anyone in the US that does that.
Thanks
Zelo

I never heard of using boilded water to brush your teeth. I get my water straight from the tap and I dont think I would do it any other wasy. I could use bottled water but that would present a much greater expense. I'm not up for it at all.

Water from our taps is safe to drink, so I use it to brush my teeth as well. I do not use bottled water, or boiled water in my day to day routine. I like your new avatar.

Unless you have reason to believe your tap water is unsafe, there is no reason to boil your water for brushing your teeth. I use tap water and there is nothing wrong with it. We have good water for drinking.

I can definitely understand boiling your water for teeth brushing if your water isn't potable. Here, tap water is, mostly, drinkable without any health consequences, so that's what I brush with. When I was living in an area where the water made everyone sick, I always used boiled or purified water to brush with.

Top water is OK for me. Some people use distilled water or drinking water.
Distilled water makes sense, but I use just top water.....

I have not tried using any boiled water youless,, I am always comfortable with the water direct from the faucet...I do know if it has significance using the first one and I'm not sure if there is anyone here who are using it...In my real friends, No one is!

We just use tap water. The water here is pretty good, and we drink it all through the day. So I figure, why not brush our teeth with it. I agree that it is more convenient. Who wants to have to get another bottle of water just to brush their teeth.

i'm pretty lucky here where i am. our tap water is fit for consumption. no worries about having to buy bottled water to cook. it's safe to drink straight from the tap. in fact, i don't boil my water before drinking. it's so much more convenient to be able to use the water directly from the tap. cheers ;p

Here in my hometown the tap water is absolutely wonderful. The water tastes wonderful, and is very very clean and clear. There is no need to boil or tree the tap water in my city, in any way at all.

I didn't even know that in some countries they boil the water just for teeth brushing :o. I just use tap water as in Finland, its so clean that you can drink directly from tap. Though, while brushing teeth ofcourse i do not drink the water, i spit it out. :) Its nice that i learn more things about foreign countries, like this boiling water for brushing teeth.
Thanks :)
