Does anyone else shop for shoes online?

I do, particularly for my husband. He has a hard-to-find shoe size, so it's very hard to find shoes for him locally and online is best. The most recent pair we got was from shoebuy.com, which is a great place and has great policies and a good selection. This morning, though, I found a place called Endless, and I found the same shoes that I bought for him a few weeks ago with two discounts (new customer and I think it was a father's day discount) for $10 less! Needless to say, I was impressed and will shop there for the next pair, which he has already picked out. (I put a banner link on my myLot profile page if anyone's interested.) My actual question is, do you shop for shoes online because it's hard to find your size in stores? We need a narrow shoe, how about you? Large size, small size, narrow or wide? Just curious how many others have odd-sized feet with hard-to-find shoe sizes.

I do, i have bought from shoebuy.com,and i have 2 pair that is in my living room ready for me to return...I got 2 pair and they are really nice but they sent me mens size 8 instead of womens size 8 and they are way to big so i am going to exchange them...It could have been my fault because the ones i ordered comes in mens sizes as well as womens sizes...I will try your site and see about them,they may be cheaper..I do find that i shop more and more over the net,its easy ....

I did go to the site and checked out their shoes..The ones i saw were nice but they seemed to be more expensive than shoebuy.com,but it might have just been the ones that I was looking at,i am not sure..I put it on my bookmarks,and the next time i do buy shoes online i will look up both sites and see where i can get the best price..I do appreciate you giving this web site information to me because i do like to compare prices before i buy...

Well, that could be confusing, indeed, with both men and women's in the same style. Good that you don't have to pay return postage. We are able to just hand a package to our UPS man, too, when necessary so we save a trip out. I'm all for not using gasoline! Let me know what you think of the other site and how the prices compare on the styles you're looking at. I hope you find the same one so you can make a good comparison.

We do online shopping for books and electronics only. I never bought any shoes or cloths or utensils online. I don't know why, but I don't feel comfortable buying shoes or cloths online. I have to see it and touch it before buying.

I can understand that. I like to see what I'm getting, too, and I like to try things on. I just don't like to go shopping!

I love buying shoes at Wal-Mart, unfortunately. That's why my closet is so full of shoes! I just found a pair of nice leather sandals the other day that I had forgotten about that I had gotten there. They had ended up under another shoebox (you don't want to see my closet). Glad I found them during sandals season. Thanks for the response!

Yes! I only buy shoes from Endless. Have been doing it for years. I only buy Columbia River sandals and egads they are expensive if you try to get them at a regualr store. Ferget it! I'm sticking with Engless, although they do deluge one with e-mails once you have bought something there.
Price is why I shop online for shoes, but you do have a point about the size. I wear a 7 which is a very common size hereabouts, I think, but online it doesn't matter. They always have stuff.

Nice to find someone who does buy their shoes online! A lot of places online do deluge with email after you've ordered, but usually it's offering a special, so I try not to ever buy without a special deal if I know to expect one in the e-mail box! Otherwise, I just hit that wonderful delete key! Thanks for your response.

I often shop for shoes online because I don't have any stores locally that sell anything I can wear. I wear a 7WW. Yup, if my toes were webbed I'd be a duck. LOL Or so my mom always told me. Added to that is my injury two years ago and alot of pain in my right foot, so I need really padded comfortable shoes most of the time.

I have a very hard time finding shoes that fit, look good and are comfortable. I have never bought any online yet. I have big feet size 11 for women, thats sometimes is hard to find. When you do find size 11, the sizes are not consisitent with other shoes. I have a hard time, I also have a hard time with finding pants that fit, I have very long legs. I don't have alot of money for shopping. When I do find pants that fit and I like them I will try to buy a couple of pairs of them.

I have bought shoes online on many occassions. For instance, my favorite nursing shoe to wear to the hospital is very expensive. I am certain of the brand, item number and price so I always check online for the shoes before venturing out and paying the price at the local stores. I have often gotten them as much as half off!! I like a particular walking/exercise shoe too, and I do the same with that shoe.

I don't buy shoes online. I have to try them on. I don't buy any clothes on line - I have to try them on. I'm not a specific size, it totally depends on the style of the shoe/clothes. This brand I'll wear a size 6, another size a size 6 1/2. This blouse will be a size M and the next one will be a L. I'll just stick with buying my box sets of the old TV sitcoms on Amazon.com! Pretty much as far as I go with buying online.

I only buy shoes online when it is a brand that I have bought before so I know how they will fit. I don't want to have to return something I bought online, it's a pain. I buy shoes for my husband online because the style he likes is hard to find in stores, so I'd rather save time and energy driving from place to place. It's cheaper to pay the shipping.

I agree about buying the same brand you know will fit. We have one style of New Balance shoes that we order for my husband all the time and know for sure it will fit. It is a pain to return anything to the store, but both shoebuy and Endless have free return shipping, so it's very easy to return the shoes if necessary and doesn't cost extra, plus it doesn't take time or gas to go back to the store. Thanks for your input!

Endless has free overnight shipping, which is great! Saves gas, too, when I don't have to go to town to a shoe store (even if they did carry the right size).
