Keychains... what is on yours right now?

Do you have a favorite, or several, or maybe you don't carry one? My personal one is a red happy face - with horns =P It's unique, I haven't seen one on anybody else's set of keys yet. If you have one of these, I would love to meet you, it means we're destined to be friends =P Is there any special significance to yours? Is a it a personal photo, a child's name, something bought during a special occasion or a vacation? I don't recall where I got mine now, probably in a Spencer's in the mall where I used to work when I was 19. I've had this keychain for 14 years!

mine and my hubbys both are the necklaces kind.. the ones that coaches wear for their whistle or people that work in a plant for their ids.. anyways we each have one with all our keys on it.. since its big its easy to spot and if i am carrying things i can just wear it till i have time to set it some where

That's a good idea, like the phone cord type that you could put around your wrist? I have a carabiner type that I can hook to my purse attached to another key ring with my sign on it. I intended to use that one to put a key on for my lock I use at the gym but now I can't find the lock.

Is it like a long lanyard or something? I have something like that but I've never put my keys on it. That IS a good idea though if you're prone to losing them frequently.

its not like the phone cord type but its like material.. hmm trying to think of how to explain it.. here is a picture similar http://www.made-in-china.com/image/4f0j00KBgaiJVWAUkZM/Keychain.jpg only mine is woven looking and a necklace if that makes sense lol.. kind of like a shoes string but wider and stiffer.. got 3 free at ozzfest so me and my hubby use them and i have a spare.. its great for when its buried in my purse and i can feel it at the bottom and pull it out since its so long your bound to touch it.. and i wear it around my neck also so i dont some how lock my keys in my car or house while im going and coming lol

i have one but i dont use it,its a TARDIS from doctor who and when you press it it makes the TARDIS sound and says some doctor who phrases,the only reason i dont carry it around is beacuse i dont want to break it or lose it!

So it's more of a collector's item keychain? That's understandable, if you only have one or it's very special, you don't want to lose or break it.

Right now the only things that I have attached to my keys are my store discount cards. I do not keep anything else with my keys though I used to have all sorts of keychains from sports keychains to keychains from various cities that I visited. I also used to have a keychain where I had family photos stored in it and could view my family pictures wherever I went. It broke and have not gotten a replacement one yet.

I have store discount cards on mine too, several of them. I also wish I could get one for Costco because I am so tired of losing my card somewhere in my purse.

Hi there CHATEAU :), Mine is a anime doll (sailormoon) keychain given by my friend last year. My work keys and room just a red ribbon. I always forgot to buy at store for a new one.LOL:)Lool at me , i am 33 years old and i already forget things! Happy posting always!! oxo'dian from Bali island.

i have on my key chain right now, a bunch of those discount cards for all the stores i shop at most. i have a my coach leather key chain holder i got from my old job and i think that is it

I have a bunch of those too, the store keychains and my gym keychains. I wish Costco had a keychain card but they told me they don't and they don't plan to. I am so tired of losing my Costco card in my purse!

i keep my keychain basic. i just have the keys to our house and my car. then i bought these cute little heart keychains that you can put pictures in. so i have 2 of them so that i have enough to put all three kids in it. they are two sided so that leaves one spot open that i don't know what to put in it yet. lol.

My favorite is an oval metal plaque with my name on it. Since I have a bit of an unusual name, I treasure it very much since I know I most likely won't be able to find another one. I had it since I was 16, which means I had it now for 22 years.

That;s an interesting question. Alot of people have keychains of differnet sorts. I think the one I use the most has a wooden block the New Hamphire "Man of the Mountain" it's a famous landmark from there which doesnt even exist anymore. The rocks that were forming the face fell down now it just looks like nothing I guess.

LOL I used to have one of those years ago! Now I have a really bright one with the initial of my name on it. Everytime I get an unusual or good one someone seems to break it so I gave up!

Hehe.. I love mine. I had a photo one of me and my ex and that one got broken sometime before I left him. I've thought about getting a photo one with my daughter on it, but I carry photos of her in my purse already.

I have a lot of keychains...some given by friends from vacations, some I bought. But I don't use keychains. I keep my keys in a key ring with an unremarkable chain - nothing special about it at all. Meanwhile, my nice little keychains are kept on a shelf at home. Someday I am going to make a cupboard where I can display my collection of keychains :-)
