Playing aristocratic cattle rancher Lady Sarah Ashley in the soon-to-be released film Australia has gone to Nicole Kidman's head, with reports the new mother has bought a $6.5 million property in the NSW Southern Highlands. The Hollywood star, who this week gave birth to Sunday Rose, her first child with country singer Keith Urban , has bought a 45-hectare cattle stud in Sutton Forest that has as its centrepiece a Georgian mansion with wraparound verandahs and 10 marble fireplaces, The Sydney Morning Herald reports. The 1878 two-storey residence is just the sort of place that Lady Sarah inherited in the storyline of the Baz Luhrmann-directed romance in which Kidman stars alongside Hugh Jackman, who plays the rugged cowboy that sweeps her off her feet. Kidman, 41, recently sold her Sydney Harbour mansion but still has a massive harbourside apartment. Friends of the couple say they are building a palatial family home in Nashville, Tennessee. They also recently bought a house in Los Angeles. http://au.news.yahoo.com/a/-/mp/4784177/kidman-splashes-house-country

This is really a wonderful news, that means Nicole Kidman has a new movie?I'm looking forward for this film because I am such a huge Nicole Kidman fan from the Philippines. I adored Nicole, aside from being a very good actress, she is pretty, refined and very down-to-earth. I am super happy that she conceived, although unfortunately her seemed-to-be perfect marriage to Tom Cruise did not last, I am happy that she find her happiness at last. The story sounds interesting, what is the title of her upcoming movie? My favorite movie of hers is Moulin Rounge, she was so amazing in that movie and it is also a Baz Luhrmann film. I hope to see her daughter's pictures in magazines and not that Suri thing always because I don't like that baby. May God showers Sunday Rose with a lot of blessings and a wonderful life ahead.

it is her money...she can buy whatever she wants. I wish I could afford to buy a couple of different houses around the country or abroad and live there at certain times of the year.

Wow, this is definately allot of money to be spending on a mansion and I hope that Nicole Kidman find the ability to remain level-headed as she allows signs of great wealth of develop around her. However, it's her money and I think she has the right to spend it as she choses, even if it means that she spends it in the USA instead of Australia. The woman has been a top-class movie actress for quite a while and her success is well earned - so let's not try and deny her the right to spend the money she has made as she sees fit.
