Hypnosis is a deeply relaxed state of mind and body that can help with many things. Many studies have shown that just being in a state of hypnosis can help the body heal itself, lower blood pressure, promote a feeling of wellbeing, and reduce stress and anxiety. Have any one you had any of the above benefits from hypnosis?

I do not believe that can help someone but instead I think hypnosis can cause troubles in someone's mind. And some people cannot be hipnotized also. Me for example nobody in this planet could hypnotize me. I live in present time constantly I think I would be laughing at the person trying to do that to me. LOL

Thank you for your response. First, hypnosis has NEVER been proven to be the cause of trouble with anyone's mind. It can, however, bring out troubles that are already there. I think this is more a matter of knowing what hypnosis actually is. Nobody can hypnotize you without your permission, whether consciously or unconsciously. In my 17 years as a hypnotherapist I have never met someone who WANTED to be hypnotized that couldn't be.
There are so many misconceptions about hypnosis. One being that a person can be too smart or intelligent to be hypnotized. The truth is that the more intelligent a person is, the easier they are to hypnotize. Hypnosis is done in the present time, unless someone wants to go back to another time in their life.
I would not ever attempt to hypnotize someone for fun, or someone who didn't want hypnosis. To me, there is no point to that. I do my work to help people, not show off.
Hypnosis is just a word for a state of mind that most people go in and out of throughout the day. During that time, a person is more suggestible, but only to things that are within their personality to do. In other words, hypnosis cannot make you do anything you do not want to do. When a person comes to me for weight loss, for example, they want to be hypnotized, and it usually helps them accomplish their goals.
Hypnosis is not mind control, it is merely a tool for self improvement, not a magic wand, and it isn't for everyone. Thank you again for your comment.
