I love Psalms and proverbs! I enjoy reading the Bible and have read it all the way through several times. I don't know that I can say that I feel more connected to any of them but I do love reading those two books a great deal. I find that Psalms will relax me a lot when I am under stress.

hi carolscash, I too love Psalms, when I was growing up, that was the book I went to through all the trouble and such of a teen. Another thing about David I love, he was so deep in trouble, he was able to share his songs with us, so we too, could find comfort, in the time of need. When I read your Psalms, it reminded me of being young. have a great day.

I personally love Ephesians. I like to read this book when I am feeling low. When I read Chapter 1:1-5, and reminded about how He chose and adopted me before the world was spoken into existence. I have always wanted to be adopted. When I came to Christ, I have found the family that I have wanted. The family of Christ.

Psalms (especially Psalms 23). But going through some pressures at work, what's helping me is reading Psalms 72 and book of Colossians

I love the Book of Psalms. I can relate to David and all the other Psalmist. I love to meditate on the book of Psalms every morning during my devotion.

Hi vanila, I love 1 Samuel. I love the story of David, his growth, his love, the lesson it teaches. David was used so much by God. But, it shows also, through his sin, there was consequences and that gives us the example of if you do this, this will happen and if you do that, this will happen. He also was a great example on how to love God, and what God expects from us, David helped to show this also. David, was a sinner, who was saved by grace. You, in his heart was a man after God, no matter what. Yet, he had troubles just like the rest of us. David taught me, one thing out of the story I will never forget. he taught me, that no matter who it is, if God anoints them, never ever speak bad against them, this is between them and God. I have kept that, for I know the anointing from God is a gift and blessing, I even feel an honor and curse. Wow. I could go on and on with David, always has always will be, thank you for asking. Have a great day. :)
