I'm in a marriage of nearly 20 years and we are both different religons. I am a witch but do not follow a religion really more of a way of life while my husband is a Christian. We are not making on religion more important that the other and our children know all they need to know to make up their own mind when the time comes as to what they choose to believe and how they choose to live according to their beliefs.

To me it is not so important that we have the same religion, it is just important that we are able to respect each others beliefs. If one cannot accept the other as they are and tries to "convert" them, then it probably wont work. Another factor, is that I want to be with someone who will let my (eventual) children choose what religion they want and not try to raise them in one. If I can find someone who has different beliefs than me, but wont try to force them on anyone, then I don't think it would be that much of a problem.

For a lover or a partner i don't take religion really into consideration unless there is talk of marriage. I want my children(when i have them that is) to be raised to pick there religion without my views interfering. I know of alot of people who grew up with a religion and grew to hate it and i don't want that. So that is the only time i take religion into consideration.

Christianity involved,.. indeed! we need to choose a person with the same religion.. it will the best for us.. God will bless us with the best person for us.. God knows best! i don't think that that will be problem.. besides, it's all worth it..
Matthew 19:6 says, "Therefore what has God joined together, let no one separate."
