Life vs Money

I am in the middle. I did not like not having money. I did not like having friends. If you think friends are more important, get rid of all your money. You will find yourself at a loss, because there may be some charity that you cannot give to because you have nothing and others will have to give to you. Get rid of all your friends and you will be alone with all your money. So in reality, you do need both.

Money is very important for us.We have to say we can not have no money in our daily life.But money cannot buy anything. I think love is essential to our lives.yes it is!!!No love,life will be no sense.

My heart has lots of pockets, but not any with holes. My memory sometimes has holes, but hopefully the things that fall through are the things that were worthless anyway, things I have no need to remember, or hold onto. Money, is just metal, and paper, and promises from the government. It can be burned up, eaten by acid, lost, torn, and otherwise damaged, but life, and the love of life go on and on.

I never seem to have enough money to pay the bills. There are always a ton of bills. Even when I seem to get everything paid another bill shows up. But I can fill my heart endlessly with friends, love and memories.

Well said Raydene, I for one have never been a monetry or materialistic person my friends and family are what is important to me. I have a big heart full of love and it is such a great thing to have and no one can take that from me. Ellie :D

We need money to survive and it gives us material things that we wanted in our life.But i could say life is more precious than money.I spent alot to save my brother's life though i save it for my daughter's future but i can still work and earn to have them but i can't bring back my brother's life anymore.

It seems that you and I are of one mind today, thinking of money and how insignificant it really is. If you read my last response to you you'll hear of the program that I'm listening to on the BBC World Serice about a dollar a day. I am not rich by Canadian standards, but in Kenya I'd be a millionaire. Unbelieveable!!!!

I believe that money does hold some kind of candle to life because we have to have it. I wish money had no meaning in life. Money problems ruin alot of peoples life because they do not have enough of it to live on. I know my family and I struggle alot with money issues in our life. I wish we didn't have to depend on it to be happy. Most of the money goes to bills and we work seven days per week. My heart has pockets. Some of it is full of heartache and the happiness pockets stay empty.

Hi raydene! I agree to that completely. The life that was lost can never be replaced while money or material things can be replaced no matter what. I have lost people I loved too and they remain in my heart but I longed for their presence in my life. When life was lost you can not help but be heart broken but money when lost, you can think of ways how to earn it back. I do worry about money a lot of times but the worries I have is not comparable to the greater worries I feel when someone I care about get sick or critically ill. Take care and God Bless!

well money is very powerful,when you're very ill and needs to go to hospital you need money.in everyday life we need money to live so for me we love LIFE but there's no life without money.In as much as we love our dear ones we can show our love with no money.Rich people like Onassis and Packer were not save....
