defragment

hey. can anyone help me to defragment my laptop. i do not know how to access that. so if anyone knows how to please help me out. the only thing i do know is that i believe you have to go through the control panel but i do now know what to do after that. My laptop runs on windows vista. Thank you

to defragment your laptop, you go to start, all programs, accesories, system tools, then finally disk defragment.
I like to see some people are really taking care of their computers:)

Vista is scheduled to defrag at particular intervals in the background, and i doubt if there is any way you can figure out the progress of the defrag as it lacks a visual display as in XP.I've switched to an automatic defragmenter that runs in the background and also has a GUI. You can check out trial versions if you want an alternate tool.

Look defragment is very easy you only need patiente for windows vista is :
1.- Start
2.-All the programs
3.- Acessories
4.-System tools
and last defragment ;)
