I prefer firefox. I have used it for quite a few years now and have never looked back since switching from IE.

i used to use firefox all the time, but the problem i started running into was that it kept running my cpu up to 100% and it wouldn't go down until i closed it, that's the only reason i switched to opera

Have you tried firefox 3? They have fixed a lot of the memory leak issues with version 3.

Bailey, I still use fun Internet Explorer :D But I think I have a 3 part reason for why. 1. I am not technologically advanced enough to understand why one browser is better than the other. 2. It came on my laptop. 3. I haven't had any problems with it. I think it may have to do with how clean your registry and such kinda stuff is, too...the smoother your computer runs the smoother your browser runs. Not only that...but it could be the provider of internet that doesn't have the smooth signal so it slows it down. Just a thought...Thanks for the post :D

That's right...if it ain't broke don't fix it :P However, even if something comes with customization abilities, I don't think I'd even know how to do it :S So I'll just leave it alone and hang with what I've got :D

your right, those do make a huge difference....i found that i also like the customization abilities that comes with opera a lot, makes things a bit easier for me, however, as the saying goes, if it ain't broke don't fix it

I really like the Safari browser. It is the preferred browser on Macs and I have had no problems with it at all. It is more secure and safer to use than the other browsers out there. It is easy to use and quicker as well. Firefox is my second favorite browser as I use that one all the time when I am using the Windows operating system. IE is my least favorite browser as it is so slow and unsecure. I have not tried the Opera browser as of yet.

When I'm running Windows I use Opera or Firefox - Opera is much faster and I like the speed dial, because I'm always always on several sites at any given time. (3 right now).
When I'm on Linux I use Firefox or SeaMonkey because I can't get Opera to work right in there yet.
I have a dual boot PC and run a virtual Linux server either way I use it. I run and host my own webpage and a few others.

I host a few websites on my server for extra income, plus I have a personal website which I use for practice in building different things for other people. Web pages, streaming media players, blogs, message boards, and such.
I've been experimenting lately with running my virtual computers inside of the other operating system. Linux under Windows or Windows under Linux.
I had 4 virtual computers going the other day all running under Windows XP. Three versions of Linux, DOS 6.0 and Windows 95. Some I can network back to my real computer, but not all will. It's fun to play with.
I guess I'm testing my limits. :)
