Which means of transportation will you prefer to take?

If i go out to travel,i will go by train.First,train is also very quickly.Second,it is cheap realitively.what's important is that when on the train,we can watch the scenery.

I think by plane, since its the fastest, i can safe my time :) anyway i don't think plane is the safest transportation, since if it get problems in the middle of the flight, it can be more frightening since we're about 10.000 km above the ground, we can't just stop and fix the problem as if we use car, and i think that's what dennis bergkamp afraid of :)

I prefer to take the train and look out of the window at the passing scenery during the day time. In the night time I feel happy to sleep in a comfortable compartment. Traveling overnight by train saves money on accommodation and it is wonderful to arrive feeling refreshed and ready for some exploring. I have been across Kenya in a train, on train lines in Australia and I have inter railed around Europe. Sometimes I like to fly in a plane because it is a way to reach a faraway destination quickly. I don't like the seats being so close to together. I think about my carbon footprint these days. The longest flights I have done were Singapore to London and London to Hong Kong. Going on a long journey by plane has meant some wonderful stopovers for me like French Polynesia, the Cook Islands and Samoa. I only like to travel by sea if the ocean is calm. I like to see islands and coastline not just sea. I can get travel sick if there are rough waves like I did going from Wales to Ireland. Often there are no trains, in which case, I choose to travel by bus. I prefer short trips by bus when I can look out of the window. I can get travel sick on buses that travel along narrow mountain roads. I find an overnight trip on a bus uncomfortable.

I am not that type who is really choosy on the means of traveling from a place to another. What I mean is that, whatever it is, as long as I get safe to my destination, it doesn't matter. Of course I enjoy traveling with a private car, it is convenient, since I can stop whenever I want, I can take routes that I want to take, without thinking if it will take longer than the usual. I also enjoy, traveling by plane. During take off, the site of the structures on land- it's view when I am up above- they look like legos, then it's as if that I can touch the clouds, and then I am able to have a glimpse of sunrise or sunset, the rays of the sun is nearer, it just brings me joy.

I prefer to fly by plane if it's more than a few hours away and we can afford it. We drove from Michigan to Florida last year for new year's though, and the 20+ hour drive was kind of fun. I'm always up for a road trip but hate to waste precious days on the road when we could be spending it in our destination!
